Someone is here. I just woke up and someone is already putting me on a bad mood. Who the fuck is at Oliver's at 11am and why did they have to wake me up?
As I step closer to the door to eavesdrop, I hear a familiar voice.
"Oli, oh my god I missed you too asshole." It's her. It's Lena. What is she doing here?
I take out my phone to check the date and it hits me. August 11th. Elena is moving in today, holy shit.
As I realize this, I take out a random T-shirt and put on my favorite Levi's as fast as I can. With my rings on and my hair looking messy I step out of the room to say hi. Not to Elena, I couldn't be less excited for her arriving to New York. I'm just excited to see Valeria and Matthew. They practically raised me and I consider them so much more than my best friend's parents. They're family.
When I get to the living room, Valeria is being Valeria. She's making sure Oliver takes care of Elena, as if she isn't old enough to take care of herself.
"Oliver, I expect you to take care of your sister. She's going to need your help getting to know the ground and new people, introduce her to your friends." I know for a fact that as soon as they leave, Lena is leaving the house to meet new people by herself. She's never been scared of making friends, that's just who she is. I'm glad about that, I wouldn't want her around us all the time and neither would she.
"Don't worry Valeria, we'll take care of your girl!" I say. She smiles and that says it all. I don't need her to tell me she's happy to see me, because I know she is. She's always treated me like her own.
As Elena turns to me, I can't help but notice how different she looks since the last time I saw her. She's more...mature? I don't know but there's just something about her that's making me... nope, don't go there. She's Oliver's little sister and she's still as annoying as always.
"Sage... You're here!" she knows I hate it when she calls me Sage. "I didn't know I would see you today..." wait she didn't know? That means that she also doesn't know that... oh my god this is going to be so good.
"Hey El, guess we're going to be seeing a lot more of each other now, especially this week" I smirk. I can see the confusion on her face. She's never liked me. I don't like her either. That's just how it works for us. We bicker and then we pretend like we don't know each other for the rest of the time.
As I'm giving her a look that says I'm going to make your life miserable this week, Oliver speaks.
"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you Lena, Theo is going to be living with us for the week."
