After a week with Enzo, he's leaving New York.
"Do you really have to go? Life is so much better with you around." I'm so sad he's going away again.
"Look, I don't like this any more than you do Lena but mom and dad would freak out if I just stayed here as well. They've been missing you a lot." This makes me feel really bad.
"I never meant to make them feel bad, I just felt like New York was right for me, you know? Like I'm meant to be here."
"They know it, Lena! But you're their little girl and the only one out of 4, it's been hard on them. They'll be okay though. Also, they're picking me up so they get to say hi to you and have lunch before leaving."
"Wait, WHAT?" Oliver freaks out. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY'RE COMING HERE...AND HAVING LUNCH?"
"Hey, calm your tits. I'll make lunch, you don't have to worry about it. Also, I told you about this yesterday but you were too busy with someone."
"Yes and my freaking out is exactly about that SOMEONE. Gigi's here, Enzo. What am I supposed to do? Introduce her to mom and dad? What do I even say? Hey guys, this is my girlfriend that's practically living with me and that I've told you nothing about, surprise? What if we're not at that stage of our relationship yet?"
"Hey, don't you think you're overthinking this just a little?" The way his brain is working is making me tired.
"Yeah, it's gonna be fine Oliver!" Theo says "Your parents are gonna be happy for you and Gigi is crazy about you, she's gonna want to meet them."
"What are you even doing here, Theo? It's 11am in the morning." I ask.
"When will you stop asking me what I'm doing in the places I'm always at, Elena? I'm friends with your brothers for fuck's sake, the most normal thing in the world is being here... And besides, I'm helping Enzo with lunch since no one else in this house knows how to cook."
"Wait and you do?" I'm actually surprised.
"What is that surprised look on your face? Yes, I do."
"Guys can we focus on my problem for a sec? You can do your bickering thing later."
"Oliver, why are you stressing so much? Just talk to Gigi."
"Okay, yeah you're right. I'm just gonna talk to her."
"Hi guys, what's up?" Gigi walks in coming from Oliver's room.
"Our parents are coming for lunch and Oliver wants to know if you wanna meet them. There, I said it. You're welcome, by the way."
"ELENA" everyone yells.
"Sorry, I knew he was gonna freak out about it and not have the courage to say it."
"Oli, why would you freak out about it? I would love to meet your parents. I mean... unless you don't want me to?! I get it, if you're not ready that's okay."
