It doesn't matter how many times I have to leave, it never gets any easier.
The year was full of so many exciting events that I didn't know if I would ever be the same.
I had my fist kiss, my team won the quidditch cup, I got a cat, I became an anamagus and so much more.
As I was packing up my things I couldn't help but feel so sad that the year was over.
I wouldn't see my friends for the entirety of break. I wouldn't be allowed to use magic.
It was very sad.
"Hey y/n, you ready" lily asked.
I sighed and turned to her, tears in my eyes.
"No"
I went to give lily a huge hug. I wouldn't be able to see any of my friends for weeks and I wouldn't be able to write any letters because my dad didn't allow owls.
"It's okay, I will try and visit you this year" lily laughed.
"You promise" I sniffled.
"Yes, now come on. We have a train to catch"
"Can you take my bags, I need to say bye to someone first" I smile.
Lily nodded, understanding who I was talking about.
I ran through the halls, almost falling when taking some turns. I ran out into the courtyard where regulus was waiting for me.
"Hey Reggie" I smiled.
"Hey y/n, are you ready to go home" regulus sighed.
"Definitely not." I sigh, while giving him a hug goodbye.
"I'll miss you" I mumbled into his chest.
"I'll miss you too" regulus muttered into my hair as he hugged me back.
We stay like that for a bit before regulus talks again.
"When you come back I want to talk to you about something"
I look up at him "what about?"
"You'll just have to see next year" regulus smiles.
"You can't be serious"
"I'm not Sirius, I'm regulus" regulus chuckled.
"You suck" I say while I try pushing away from him.
"I'm sorry but I had too" regulus smiled, keeping me in a hug.
We both sighed.
"Will you be going back to that summer camp you told me about?" Regulus asked, finally letting go.
"No, I'm going to be getting a job at a plat shop so I can work on herbology" I smile.
"Are you going to do anything fun" I ask, already knowing the answer but asking to be polite.
"I might go to France to see family but otherwise I'll be home reading like always" he said with a sad smile.
"Well maybe you can visit a plant shop, I hear little Alice plant emporium is very nice" I smile.
Regulus chuckled "maybe" which means no obviously but I still offered.
"Well I guess this is goodbye for now." I sigh
"I guess it is"

"I mean my parents can pretend to be muggles if you want" James suggests. Trying to find a way for me to visit them over the summer.
"I'll talk to them, they might not mind getting me out of the house for a few days" I laugh.
In all reality I haven't spent a lot of time with the mauraders this year which is truly my fault. I let a guy get between me and my friends. So maybe this summer I can spend more time with them.
"If you can we will have so much fun. I'll take you to my favorite cliff" James says.
"And my favorite record shop" Sirius interjects.
"I would love to see those places. But someone would have to pick me up in a car. No magic"
"No problem" James laughs.
"Do you think I could come to the shop you are working at every now and then?" Remus asks.
"I mean if you're willing to make the trip of course" I smile.
"What about me" Peter added.
"Sure you can Peter" I laugh.
All of us continue to enjoy ourselves until we hear a knock at the door to our compartment.
I open the door to see delphinium.
"Oh my god hey del" I smile, pulling her into a hug.
"Hey girl, how are you" del asks through her super tight hug.
"Great, are you excited for break" I ask.
"So excited, I'm going to America for a few weeks. I'm staying in this cabin in the woods. Somewhere in.. I think it's called Oregon"
"That sounds awsome" I say.
I turn around and realize nobody knows who she is.
"Hey guys this is my friend delphinium."
"Hi" she waved.
"She's hot" Sirius commented earning a slap from Remus.
"I know" del laughs.
"Anyways I just came to say goodbye. I hope we get to hang out more next year" she says pulling me into a hug.
"Aw, goodbye. And yes we have to hang out more"
We finish hugging and after she leaves go sit back down in my seat.
"Where did you guys meet?" Sirius asks.
"Oh I saved her during the quidditch game and then we bumped into each other later on" I answered quickly, trying to change the topic.
Sirius nods and everyone continues talking about summer.
I look out the window and can't help but think about regulus, and all the secrets that I have had to keep ever since becoming his friend.
And the more I think the more I realize how much fun keeping secrets is. Well, until people find out.

Okay so I'm going to need a few days to plan out the next years plot so I won't be posting anything this weekend. Or maybe I will. Who knows.

Also I might do some bonus Summer content while I work on the outline so ignore me saying I won't be posting because I might.
