Motorsport One shots x Y/n

🌼The Other Leclerc Sibling- PA1

I was lucky enough to be able to come to university so close to my older brother, Arthur's work. I'd always been the sort of left out sibling in our family- didn't race cars, wasn't a boy. The list went on. The only thing I did do racing in was a pool. I had very quickly been offered a place on the Vincenza  D2 swim team.

"Okay Y/n, let's go!" Arthur called from the door of my small apartment.

"Okay, coming!" I said, pulling my jacket on as it was the middle of winter, and picking up my bag. Arthur would often take me to the Prema factory with him as he knew I was interested in engineering. But today was a bit different. Today was a team social between drivers and people related to the drivers.

I stepped out the door and locked up and followed Arthur down the stairs to his car. I shivered as we stepped in the basement, even though I was wearing a T-shirt, a thick hoodie and a jacket.

"Jeez, how cold is it today?" I breathed.

"-3 degrees Celsius." Arthur said, looking at his phone as we got into the car. He immediately turned the heaters on as we left the car park and headed to the factory.

I had made friends with most Prema drivers, and my best friends were Aurelia and Bianca. We also quite often ended up hanging out with Dino Beganovic, Ollie Bearman and Paul Aron. Aurelia had told me that she thinks that I like Paul, which, after thinking, was completely true.

Arthur parked the car in the parking lot as I spotted those three exact people walking in. I stopped and stared at them walking in, Paul in particular.

"Y/nnn... Cmon." Arthur complained, waiting to lock the car.

"Sorry." I quickly said, getting out and grabbing my bag. We walked into the lobby, greeted by Angelina who quickly whisked me away to hang out with Aurelia and Bianca.

"Y/n!" Bianca and Aurelia said in unison, standing up and coming over to me.

"Hello!" I greeted. "How you guys been?"

"Good yea! I think Dino, Paul and Ollie will be here in a minute." Aurelia said.

"Oh yea, they are already here. I saw them walk in!" I smiled.

"Oh, well let's go find them!" Bianca said.

"Nah mate, C'mon. We should chill for a bit first. I'm so tired" Aurelia said.

"Yea. They would not want to talk to us whilst we're tired. " I added.

"Oh well, their problem. Let's go!" She said, strolling out the door of the room. Aurelia looked at me, knowing I wouldn't want to talk to them as I rolled my eyes, taking of my jacket and chucking it onto a chair.

We all walked out of the room and into the main lounge where most other drivers were.

"Y/n?! Socialising with other people other than those two?! Really??" Frederick said as I followed Bianca across the room.

"Against my will." I shrugged at him, making him laugh. We went and stood in the corner for a second.

"Okay, where do we want to sit?" Bianca asked.

"There?" Aurelia asked. We nodded amongst ourselves as we walked over and sat down. We chatted for a bit before the three walked in and sat down around us.

"Oh hi guys!" Bianca said to the boys.

"Hi! You alright?" Ollie responded.

"Yea, fine!" Bianca replied.

"How bout the rest of you?" Ollie asked again.

"Cold mate. It's freezing." I replied laughing. It was still very cold inside the building.

"Did you even wear a jacket here?" Dino laughed at me, knowing that I often underdressed in the winter.

"Yes I did actually! I left it in the other room though." I said, standing up to go get it. I gave the boys a confused look as Dino and Ollie were both nudging Paul.

"Ok, ok, fine stop! Y/n I'll come with you." Paul smiled at me. I suddenly felt nervous but also confused by Dino and Ollie.

We walked back to the room and I picked up my jacket.

"Uh, so are you okay?" I asked him. He breathed in sharply and bit his lip. "Dino and Ollie were... nudging you?"

"Uhm, yea. They know uhm, yea." I raised an eyebrow at his response. "Sorry. Uhm. I've liked you for a long time now..."

I stopped and stared at him. Was the person I've had a crush on for a whole year, confessing his feelings to me?

"Sorry. I'll leave. Don't want to make you uncomfortable." He said, turning away and walking over to the door.

"No, Paul wait." I called after him. He stopped and turned to me. "I feel the same way."

Paul walked back towards me as I looked up to his taller figure.
"Are you sure?" He said quietly to me. I nodded as he put his hands on my waist, smiling. His face edged closer to mine and I felt the heat come up to my cheeks. He gently placed his lips on mine, then pressing our foreheads together once we pulled away.

"You don't know how long I've wanted to do that." He gently laughed. I laughed with him as I slipped my hand into his, fingers interlocking. I stepped away, smiling and pulling my jacket on.

We walked back to the group hand in hand, much to Bianca's surprise.

"There we go! Did it!" Dino said, high fiving Aurelia.

"Wait what?!" I exclaimed.

"It was taking to long." Dino laughed, shrugging.
