| Prequel to 'My brothers best friend' & 'My best friends sister' |

Nicolina Martell moves to Jacksonville to escape her past, but she runs right into the world she tried to escape from.
Mitch Warner is a mute underg...
It was safe to say each and every one of us were hungover, even the bride and groom. Everyone had zero chill, I knew what it was like in their family and friend group, so I wasn't surprised.
Nonetheless, we got up early and got ready. I put on the red silk dress that Alex had chosen for me and I got ready before going to see Alex.
I was about to cry when I saw her in her wedding dress, her hair was done, her makeup was perfect and the dress was just amazing.
Tabitha leaned her head into mine as she brought another tissue up to stop her tears before they fell and ruined her makeup.
"She's so beautiful," Tabs cried. "No, no, no-guys don't cry. I'm gonna start crying too" Alex whined and we all giggled a little. Everyone had wet eyes, it would be crazy if they hadn't.
Jake, Terry and Matheo walked in and all three stopped to stare at Alex. "My brother's gonna cry, I just know it" Matheo retorted and made Jake and Terry laugh.
"He better, otherwise I'm gonna make him cry" Jake retorted.
"Now, now, guys- calm your shit" Micky retorted and came up behind me and massaged my shoulders. Micky was the sweetest, funniest guy I'd ever met, he and West shared that title.
Before we knew it, the wedding had begun. I had found my seat on the first row along with Alex' uncles and aunts and even her cousin Danny who had patched me up years ago.
Everyone stood up when the bridesmaids and groomsmen walked in, Serena, Claire, Andrea and Tabitha, then Terry, Matheo and Tobias.
Jake was supposed to walk Alex down the aisle and then take his place as Marcus' groomsman, everyone got in their places and Marcus waited patiently, his hands were shaking and he already looked close to bursting into tears.
When the music started and the doors opened, Jake and Alex walked in. A few tears slipped from everyone's eyes as they watched Alex and Jake.
My eyes traveled to all of the people in the church, when I got to Marcus' side and to the front row, my smile died-but the tears stayed.
Mitch stood there, watching me. He didn't hide that he was staring at me, not at Alex walking down the aisle. Then he did the last thing I expected.
He gave me a small smile. Relief seemed to wash over in his eyes and I returned it, not knowing what else to do.
I directed my eyes at Alex and Marcus who began their vows after the priest's speech. I couldn't believe that he was here, he was staring at me, smiling at me.
Panic began to settle in and my hands started shaking, but I kept looking calm for as long as
Marcus and Alex were still up there, making their forever promises.
The 'I do's rang through the church and everyone broke into cheers and clapping as the priest declared them husband and wife.
They exited the church and I hurried out, I went with Serena and Tobias back to the hotel where the celebration was to take place.
"I saw him, shit" I cursed in the backseat of Tobias' car. "Mitch?" Serena questioned as she looked back at me. I nodded my head with a frown and she gave me a sad smile.
"Are you gonna talk to him?" Tobias asked and I sighed. "I don't know" I murmured and frowned the rest of the way to the hotel.
Everyone piled into the hotel and waited for the newlyweds, Serena and Tabitha stayed by my side as we waited for Alex and Marcus to come in, their car was outside.
We could imagine what the hold up was.
Not long after the couple walked into the building, letting confetti and other sparkling shit explode throughout the entire room. The band started playing as they entered and greeted people.
I hugged both and cheered them on as they continued greeting everyone. My eyes traveled to Mitch, he was staring at me once again.
He looked like he wanted to talk, yet he was so far away. He slowly backed up and kept his eyes locked with mine, he wanted my attention.
As he disappeared in the crowd, I knew he wanted me to follow him. Despite my own protests against it, my feet moved.
I slid through people to follow him, but once I had come to the back of where I had seen him last, he was gone. I turned on my heel and looked around, eager to find him.
It felt harder to breathe as I looked for him. I don't know what washed over me, I felt a sudden urge to see him, talk to him, feel him.
A hand wrapped around my upper arm and I was yanked out of a door, I stumbled a little but regained balance when I saw Mitch close the door.
We were in a hallway. Isolated from everyone. It was just us.
"Mitch?" I said breathlessly, he looked at me in silence, he watched as I brought my hands up to cup his face, my thumbs ran over his skin, feeling the familiar warmth once again.
"You look-well" I said and removed my hands immediately as I realized what I was doing. I had no right to touch him, I had no right to think so.
"You too, big lawyer" He said in a low, rough voice. It was clear he didn't have more to say about that. I couldn't tell if he was disappointed by my choices, but something flashed in his eyes.
"Look, tonight is about Marcus and Alex. I don't want to create a scene or a problem, so can we please put the past behind us for one night?" I pleaded him.
He looked down at me and slowly stepped forward, a dangerous look in his eyes. I stepped backwards confused and slightly afraid of him, my heart began to pound urgently in my chest.
He backed me up against the wall and leaned his arms next to my head. Blocking me from leaving, he was trapping me, but why? What did he want.
"Mitch...the party" I half whispered, I was afraid. Afraid that he would shout at me, the way he had that day when he'd left me.
I was afraid that he hated me and that he would express his hate.
"Fuck the party. You said to put our past behind us for one night, so let's not waste any time" Mitch said in my ear. His breath on my skin created goosebumps all over my body.
"What do you mean?" I whispered, I was weak. I couldn't speak up, I couldn't push him away. "We're wasting time" he said and brushed his lips over mine.
As if a moth to a flame, or a magnet- I was unable to resist, I don't know who moved first. But our lips crashed together. Within seconds, Mitch had lifted me up and harshly slammed my back into the wall with force, to show he was still angry.
My lipstick smeared all over his mouth and neck and he didn't have a single care in the world. "Not here" I said breathlessly as he pulled at my dress.
I didn't have to say anything else, he opened the door to a room and tore my panties off, breaking the delicate thing. He ripped it apart and I didn't have it in me to give a fuck.
I opened his belt and his white dress shirt, I ran my hand down his abs as he lined himself up at my entrance.
He wasted no time burying himself deeply into me. I moaned out both in pleasure but also pain, it had been a year since I had sex. His lips found my neck as he held me tight and fucked me furiously.
