013 - Nurse

I waited for hours on the bed, I kept pushing Mitch to make sure he didn't fall asleep. Just in case he had a concussion. I shoved him once again with my shoulder and he shot up alerted.

"They're taking West to the ER. Something's wrong" I told him. He frowned but nodded, I sat on the edge of his bed and so I got up.

"Oliver is downstairs" I added as I walked towards the door. Sadness filled me because Mitch had gotten badly hurt, West was even worse. I feared he would suffer from the same consequences I had.

I opened the door to exit it, but Mitch pulled me back and closed the door with his hand. He looked at me with worry, but said nothing and pulled me after him into the bathroom.

It was king size, not that I was surprised. The man was huge and rich.

He turned on the lights and pulled in after him. He was shirtless once again and I saw just how many bruises he had gotten.

He turned to me and motioned for me to stay there. I waited for him to let me know what he was doing, he pulled out a towel and wetted it with warm water, he then turned back to me.

'Take your hoodie off' Mitch signed. I glanced down and saw West's blood stains, I grimaced and slipped it over my head. I let it drop to the floor and Mitch reached out to brush my hair over my shoulder.

I eyed him wearily as he did this, he pushed my hair over onto my opposite shoulder and began to gently swipe the towel over my shoulder and neck, I glanced in the mirror and saw blood.

I sighed and swallowed my sadness, I wasn't about to cry in Mitch's bathroom. Fuck no. I let him wash it off and then he cupped my cheek with his free hand.

He lifted my face slightly and wiped the towel on the side of my face, wetting my hair as well. It was all West's blood. I swallowed hard as I watched the red stains on the towel.

Mitch brushed his thumb over my cheek to distract me as he saw how my mood dropped. I couldn't help but slightly lean into his touch as I fought to keep my emotions inside.

Mitch was gentle, patient and he was careful. He washed the towel once again and wiped it over a few of the same places, to make sure he got everything.

Once he was satisfied, he let his hand fall from my face and I watched him intensely. 'Thank you' I signed to him. It was easier than speaking, I knew my voice would break if I did.

He gave me a small smile and cupped my face for a second. He gazed into my eyes and I almost felt compelled by them. It was intense, all I wanted was for him to kiss me, in this sensitive moment.

Just to be there, just for one fucking second.

My eyes traveled unwillingly to his lips, he did the same and he didn't hide it. I felt both of us moving closer, my body tensed as I waited for the contact.

His lips brushed against mine, he was teasing me, either that or he was giving me a chance to stop him. I didn't stop him, he closed the remaining distance between us and his lips crashed onto mine.

I kissed him back and let him deepen the kiss, he slowly backed me up against the sink. I was so caught up in it, his lips felt like they were on fire when they worked on mine.

I loved it. Every second and I couldn't get enough.

"Guys? West needs Nick" Oliver's voice called out, we pulled away instantly and I created some distance between us.

"I'm sorry" I muttered without looking at Mitch, I grabbed my hoodie from the floor and hurried out. "Is he okay?" I ask Oliver.

"I don't know, he wants to see you though. I'll take you there" He said and I nodded. Both of us skipped down the stairs of the huge mansion.

Oliver took me to the hospital, Fran and North were with him and Celina was waiting outside for us. I practically ran inside, when I saw Celina.

"Is he okay?" I asked her, she had tears in her eyes. She nodded her head in relief and the tears spilled. Oliver took her into his arms as she cried while I ran to the room she had given me.

Fran and North were sitting on each side of the hospital bed. "West" I exhaled in relief when I saw him sitting up and awake. "Darling" He cracked a smile, but I could see he was in pain.

I pulled him into a gentle hug and Fran ditched the chair she sat on and sat on North's lap instead. I occupied her chair and took West's hand in mine.

"What happened? What was wrong?" I asked him. "A minor concussion," West said. North cleared his throat. "Alright-it was a serious bad concussion" West corrected with sass.

"Don't fight again, please leave it. It was close, don't do it again" I begged him. I saw myself in him, making the same mistakes.

"Alright, alright, I won't. Calm down" West said and patted my hand that clung onto his. "Good, promise me" I said and he sighed. "I promise"

Hours later, I was left with a huge mess. I had kissed Mitch. And I had left him at the first chance I got. I'm a fucking moron.

I held onto West's hand as he slept, yet I couldn't get any sleep myself. It was seven in the morning when he woke up again and I stared into the room.

Fran and North were sleeping on the couch on top of each other. Oliver and Celina had gone home after checking up on West. They would go see Mitch before they went all the way home.

I knew West and North's parents were coming soon, so I looked forward to it. I had texted my parents that I was at the ER with a friend who was hurt.

My mom would pick me up when I let her know when. Suddenly the door opened and I saw an older woman and man sneak in, trying to be as quiet as possible.

"North" I hissed, he woke up startled and Fran woke up. "Mom? Dad?" North said sleepily. The woman smiled at me as she saw me holding West's hand.

"Thank you. You've been here all night, haven't you?" She half whispered to me. I nodded my head and slowly got up. I slowly slid my hand out of West's and his mother took my seat and captured his hand in hers.

"Thank you for taking care of him" His father said to Fran and I, we nodded back and headed out together.

"Do you need a ride home?" I asked her as I texted my mom. "Nah, I got my car over here. Are you good?" Fran asked me sleepily.

"Yeah, I'll see you later" I said and she nodded. She insisted on keeping the fight tonight, she wanted to go through with it despite what we had just witnessed.

"Bye" She called out as she walked towards her car. It took five minutes for my mom to pull up, I sat on the curb when I heard the brakes of the car screech.

"Are you okay, honey?" She asked once I had gotten into the car. "Yeah, I haven't been able to sleep all night, so I'm just tired," I told her.

She nodded and ran a hand through my hair and caressed my cheek, before taking off. After about fifteen minutes we arrived at home.

I held my hoodie in hand and my jacket was wrapped around my body, there was dried blood on it as well.

I couldn't wait to get out of these clothes. "Get some rest, I'll make sure to call you for lunch" My mom said, I nodded and let her hug before I was able to go upstairs.

What a fucking chaotic night.
