"I need you," he whispered in between kisses. He had pushed me up against the wall, his hands trapping me. I hadn't seen his face but the way he made me feel made it irrelevant. The room was too dark for me to see him anyhow, with only a small candle to give us light. The whole time, he called me beautiful, priceless, and many other lovely things.
I wasn't complaining.
When he tried to keep talking I shut him up with a kiss. It was full of passion and lust.
The only other person I had ever felt this way was with -
No.
He tilted my chin upwards, so I was facing him. As I finally got the chance to see his face I gasped I recognized those eyes. It was -
"Liz wake up!" A voice whispered harshly, waking me from my slumber.
"What?" I groaned, rolling over before smacking my head into the wall. Ignoring Andrea's snickers I rubbed my head, before turning towards her. "Was waking me up at," I glanced at the clock on the nightstand," three forty-five really necessary? Wait. WHY ARE YOU WAKING ME UP AT THREE FORTY-FIVE?"
Andrea shushed me, her manicured hand covering my mouth in an attempt to stifle my complaints. "Remember, there are people sleeping and we don't want to wake them."
But you wake me up with no problem.
I ran a hand through my hair before grimacing. Ew it's greasy and knotted.
"Now, I'm going to take my hand off of your mouth, and you're not going to say a word until you see why I woke you up." Slowly I nodded, my eyes narrowed at her. She pulled out her laptop, the dull light from the screen illuminating her face. I noticed the dark rings under her eyes, making her look much older, more emotionally drained.
"Okay so listen, I put two little cameras in the guys' room a few nights ago because I was worried about... doesn't matter. And so I realized over the past few days that both of them talk in their sleep, a lot. Now I want you to listen to this and tell me if you don't think that is the voice of a man in love."
I'd told Andrea all about the whole, Logan and I thing. Answering all her questions on our relationship, not that there was much to tell after all, there was none. Once I'd told her about my weird feelings towards Logan she'd gone on a rampage stating how both of us were hopeless. In her eyes, we were both madly in love, despite us not even knowing it.
I suppose this is what she was talking about now.
Listening closely to Andrea's program I heard mumbling which turned into words.
"Liz... stay... please... don't leave... I need you..." Logan's voice overtook my mind, hearing my name in his sleep was way different than hearing it while he was awake. His breath quickened, losing the steady pace. "Love... love...no don't... don't leave!" He gasped, the sound of his bed squeaking alerted us of his awakening. Andrea quickly turned the volume down, knowing that the walls were thin.
Watching his figure sit up in the bed, I held my breath as he stared straight into the camera. He shrugged before standing up and walking out the door, his back muscles flexing ever so slightly.
I snuck a glance towards Andrea who was smirking at me with an eyebrow raised. Before she could open her mouth for some snarky comment I pushed her slightly, making a beautiful face.
"Whatever, just go to bed," I yawned, laying on my side before feeling Andrea's weight leave my side.
As darkness consumed me, I heard Andrea whisper,"Just because you don't think it's true, doesn't mean it won't happen. Coming from someone who has little faith in happy endings, I know you'll find yours with him."
