As Seonghwa was walking out of the Liberal Arts building, he received a text from Yunho.
From: YuYu <3, 5:05pm
Sorry about earlier, hyung. Mingi was in trouble. He got in a fight at his school and got arrested. He was released from custody almost an hour ago. His mom and the parents of the guy he fought decided not to press charges.
Seonghwa walked over to a nearby bench and sat down before texting back.
To: YuYu <3, 5:07pm
What did Mingi get in a fight about? He's not a violent person, is he? I don't want you to get pulled into something dangerous.
From: YuYu <3, 5:10pm
Of course not! TT^TT he got in a fight to defend my honor. A jerk at his school was making fun of me because I met up with him after he got out of school the other day. Don't worry, I already chewed him out about it. He can't just beat up every person who insults me.
To: YuYu<3, 5:11pm
Wow. He must really like you.
From: YuYu <3, 5:11pm
No, that's definitely not it.

It's not my place to tell you. I just know that he doesn't, okay?
Seonghwa frowned at the defensive connotations from Yunho's text.
Before he could dwell on it any longer, another person sat next to him.
"Waiting for a hot date?" An all too familiar voice asked.
Seonghwa snorted as he locked his phone and looked up at Hongjoong.
"No, I was texting Yunho. What are you doing here? This morning, San said the both of you would be staying in the Liberal Arts building until late."
"I was hungry, so I decided to take a break. San decided to stay in there and work on a new composition while I'm gone." Hongjoong shrugged. "The entire performing arts section is having an informal recital for our midterm. That includes my piano class. San's been helping me with the piece I'll be presenting."
Seonghwa knew all about the recital.
Yunho and San had separately told Seonghwa about the performing arts recital.
It took place on three separate days: the first day for band students, the second day for orchestra students, and the third for choir students.
Yunho played saxophone in band, and would be performing on the first day.
San would be performing during the orchestra's recital on piano, but he had no idea Hongjoong would be too.
