When classes resumed on Monday, he spotted Hongjoong walking in his general direction as he was leaving English class with Yunho.
He muttered an excuse to Yunho before turning tail, praying that the ravenette didn't see him.
He hid in the men's bathroom, opening the door slightly to see what Hongjoong was doing.
He saw Hongjoong converse with Yunho briefly, a frown on his face.
He looked past Yunho, as if searching for something.
Seonghwa quickly closed the bathroom door and hid in a stall, breathing heavily.
He waited for several minutes to make sure there was no possibility Hongjoong was lingering nearby.
After he deemed the coast was clear, Seonghwa jogged out of the Liberal Arts building.
He received a text later on that day after he got out of his Voice and Speech class.
From: Unknown Number, 2:01pm
Hey, this is Hongjoong. I need to talk to you. Can we meet up?
All of Seonghwa's fears resurfaced as he stared at the message.
How the hell did he get his number?
Yunho must have given it to him when they talked earlier. Seonghwa deduced anxiously.
Ignoring the text, Seonghwa shoved his phone back into his pocket as he scurried to his Acting 4 class.
Hongjoong had texted him a few more times that day and even called him in the evening, but Seonghwa refused to answer.
He just couldn't.
Seonghwa had never considered himself a coward before, but just the thought of Hongjoong's reaction made him betray his own character.
What was happening to him?
What happened to the confident and brave Park Seonghwa?
That night, when Seonghwa removed his makeup and stared at himself in the mirror, he didn't like the person he saw.

The next day, Seonghwa couldn't muster the courage to go to his creative writing class.
This was his first time ever skipping a class.
San had given his roommate a miffed glare before he left for his music theory class.
Even though Seonghwa had no problem skipping creative writing, there was no way he could skip Film Lab, so Seonghwa begrudgingly prepared himself for the two o'clock class.
He didn't feel like putting in extra effort to look pretty, so Seonghwa pulled on a plain white long-sleeved t-shirt and baby blue leggings.
