Usually when he was feeling down, he would write said feelings in the form of raps.
The words would just rush out of him like a waterfall.
But for some reason, no inspiration came to him.
Giving up, he closed his laptop and flopped on the lower half of the dorm's bunk bed.
Yeosang had already departed for Pohang to spend Chuseok with his family.
On the bright side, at least Hongjoong would have three days of peace and quiet without the dancer bugging him.
Knock, knock, knock.
Hongjoong groaned.
And there went the peace.
He pulled his pillow over his head, childishly hoping hiding himself would make the unwanted visitor go away.
The knocking continued, albeit more urgently.
Exhaling sharply, Hongjoong threw the pillow off of him and stormed over to the door.
"What?" He snapped in frustration.
Hongjoong blinked in shock when he saw it was Seonghwa at the door, appalled at such a rude greeting.
Hongjoong noticed that Seonghwa wasn't wearing any bright colors this time around, which stunned him.
He had on a simple white t-shirt and black basketball shorts.
His face was bare of any makeup as well.
He looked different, but also handsome.
He noticed Seonghwa's gaze subtly shift downwards.
The ravenette then remembered that he was shirtless and clad in only boxers.
Blushing at his half-nakedness, Hongjoong stepped back into his room.
"Hyung... uh, I'm sorry." He apologized for his indecency, embarrassed. "What are you doing here?"
Seonghwa crossed his arms. "I came to get you. And I'm glad I did. You're in worse shape than I thought."
Hongjoong was aware that his eyes were dark from the lack of sleep.
They were probably red as well from crying.
"Have you eaten at all?" Seonghwa inquired, stepping into his room and shutting the door.
"No."
"Well, get dressed and come with me." Seonghwa ordered. "You're not gonna spend Chuseok holed up in your room. We're going to eat, and then we're going for a walk. That's why I'm dressed in my gym gear. We're going to be walking for quite a while, and I didn't wanna dirty up any of my cute clothes."
"W-What?" Hongjoong stuttered. "What the hell is happening? How did you even know I was staying here for Chuseok? Why haven't you gone home? How did you even get into the building?"
"You ask too many questions." Seonghwa rolled his eyes. "Do as I say and get some clothes on. You're getting out of this stuffy dorm whether you like it or not."
Goaded by the finality in Seonghwa's tone, Hongjoong obeyed.
After demanding Seonghwa to turn around, he slipped on a black graphic t-shirt and red basketball shorts.
Satisfied, Seonghwa pulled Hongjoong out of his room and down the elevator.
It was already three o'clock in the afternoon.
Not having time to cook a meal, they decided to just eat in the dining hall.
Hongjoong ate a burger, laughing when Seonghwa scrunched his nose at the food he had ordered.
"This is why I cook for myself." Seonghwa gagged, picking at the dry chicken and kimchi on his plate. "So I won't be subjected to shit like this."
"It's not that bad, hyung." Hongjoong chortled, reaching his disposable chopsticks towards Seonghwa's kimchi and popping a piece in his mouth.
Seonghwa's face contorted in disgust, scandalized at the sight.
"Here, you can eat this sorry excuse for kimchi and I'll take your burger." Seonghwa huffed.
Being the gentleman he was, Hongjoong switched their plates, grinning tauntingly.
He happily ate the kimchi and chicken while Seonghwa looked on, a small smile pulling at his lips.
