Oscar called his dog, Piper to him and she came running to him. "Come on let's go for our daily walk, girl. You're such a good girl, aren't you?" Oscar put the leash on and Piper excited, led him outside.

Oscar laughed. "Hey, girl! Slow down! We don't need to run into something or someone- and sure enough boom, they had collided with someone. A very angry someone.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you. My dog was very excited."

The man stood up, brushed himself off, and glared at Oscar. "I do not care if your dog is the queen's dog, you, sir, are quite rude."

Oscar blinked. "Excuse me? How am I rude for walking my dog, and she's a dog? You can't expect her to say Excuse me, can you?" The man glared even harder this time.

"No, but her master could very well say excuse me. He seems to have no problem with talking."

Oscar was speechless. This time the man sneered. "What's the matter" Does the cat have your tongue? Or in this case, shall I say dog?" The man rolled his eyes.

"Come on, Piper. Let's get out of here." Nolan scoffed at Piper's name and this time it was Oscar's turn to glare.

"At least we'll never see him again," Oscar said to Piper and his phone rang. "Hello, Tiff? Are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm at home. Why?"

"Okay. I'll be there in a few minutes. Of course, I'll bring Piper, if you're willing to let me," Oscar smiled and hung up.

A few moments later, he was knocking on his friend's door with his dog.

Tiffany had looked like she had been crying. Oh no, this couldn't be good," Oscar thought.

"Tiff, what happened?"

"Trisha broke up with me. She says I'm too much, and she's not sure she's up for that," Tiffany wiped a tear from her eye, and anger rippled through Oscar. How dare she?

"She what? A bit rude, isn't it,?" Oscar asked as Piper jumped on his lap and Tiffany laughed.

"I suppose it is rude, but she's right, you know?"

"She not right, Tiff! Having a mental illness doesn't make you undatable," Oscar said reading his best friend's mind.

Tiffany shook her head. "I don't know, Oscar. Sometimes.."

"Nope, we're not going there," Oscar said firmly and Tiffany nodded. She sat next to Oscar.

"Why do I need a girlfriend when I have you and sometimes I get to spend time with my best friend's adorable dog," Tiffany grinned.

Pleased, that his friend was feeling better. He changed the subject.

"Congrats on getting your book published," Oscar grinned back at her but felt sad when he saw this sad look in her eyes. Alarmed, he pulled Tiffany to him.

"What happened?"

"Scathing reviews," Tiffany got her laptop and showed them to Oscar. He was shocked people could be so cruel.

"Wow, that one is especially cruel!" Then he noticed something, and Oscar clicked on it right away.

"Oscar, what's wrong?" Oscar turned the laptop around and pointed to the man's picture.

Tiffany was confused until Oscar told her the story about meeting the man while walking Piper.
