On Oscar's birthday, Nolan thought he would stop by and gift him chocolate and maybe a tie. "This is a weird gift maybe," Nolan spoke into the phone to Trisha.

Trisha chuckled. "It's not. You and Oscar love your ties. Only he prefers neckties and you love your bow ties."

"Are you dissing my bow ties?"

Trisha feigned shock. "I would never! In all seriousness, he will love it. You got it for him because you thought about him."

"I hope you're right about that, Trish."

"I am trust me. I'm always right."

Nolan snickered and told Trisha he would call her back when he could.

Nolan knocked on Oscar's door. "Nolan, what are you doing here?"

"Happy birthday."

Oscar's face lit up. "What's going on? Didn't Kevin and Tiffany wish you a happy birthday?"

"They did, but I don't know something's going on with them. It feels like they've been shutting me out."

"You shouldn't be alone tonight. Let's go out for cake and ice cream."

"Really?"

Nolan nodded. "My treat."

They played arcade games and then went to a movie. Back at Oscar's, Nolan gave Oscar the card he made and his gift.

"I love the rainbow tie. Thank you," Oscar leaned in and kissed Nolan.
