When Oscar joined them, his friends ran over to him. "Are you okay?" Nolan asked.
"I'm okay. I don't think my parents liked me standing up to them."
"It had to be done," Trisha smiled.
Kevin and Lyle hugged Oscar and told him they were proud of him."
"Okay, enough of that. I'm starving. Burgers and hot dogs?"
They served food, played games, and watched fireworks.
It was getting late so Oscar asked Nolan to stay the night.
"You too, Trish. You can sleep on my bed. Nolan and I'll sleep in the living room with Piper."
"I don't want to intrude."
"You're not intruding. I know that house is lonely sometimes without Tiffany."
"Thank you."
Everyone left. "Okay now that everyone's gone. I was thinking. What if we all three moved in together."
Nolan and Trisha exchanged a look. "I'm not crazy. I thought about what if you and Tiffany got back together, so I found a five-bedroom house and we'll be able to afford the rent since we all have great jobs."
"When do you need an answer?" Nolan asked.
"By New year's eve."
"Give us until then, " Trish and Nolan agreed.
