Greyson's POV
~*~
"I thought you were planning on sleeping at the ball park." My mom said sarcastically as I walked in the front door.
"Not gonna say I don't prefer to." I roll my eyes.
My dad walked in the room. "I don't get your enthusiasm over baseball kid. They look like idiots running around those bases." He scoffed.
My jaw clenched and I kept walking to my room completely ignoring them. I slammed my door and set my training bag in a corner. I quickly hopped in the shower letting all the cold water wash my anger away. I dressed in some sweats and laid on my bed when I heard a knock on my door.
"Greyson Mathew, come down for dinner." My mom kept knocking.
I flung open the door and walked past her. We all sat down at the dinner table as our house maid placed our food in front of us.
"Okay, you may leave." My mom waved our maid off. "So, how was work?" She faced my dad.
"Fine, as usual." He placed his cell phone down. "We actually have some new investors."
"That's awesome." She responded. "What about you sweetheart?"
I looked up at her. "New girl hates me for no reason and practice was super exhausting but then again there is nothing like home fake home right?" I said sarcastically.
"Greyson don't start with your mother, have some respect." My dad fumed.
"Respect is something you've got to give to receive." I pushed away from the table, grabbed my car keys and droved away into the night.
After about ten minutes of driving around my phone starting ringing. I answer but kept my eyes on the road. "Hello?"
"Hey babe!" Macy squeaked making me cringe.
"Hey."
"Something wrong baby boo?" I hated when she called me that.
"No." I lied. For some reason I just never felt comfortable enough to tell her about my problems. For all the world knows I live the perfect life with a perfect millionaire family.
"Are you sure? Your acting weird, do you like another girl? Oh, God are you going to brake up with me?!" She started crying which doubled my anger.
I just hung up the phone because I knew I was just going to take out all my anger out on her. If there something I can't stand about Macy is her theatrics.
Driving back to my house I couldn't stop thinking about the new girl. Her long dark brown wavy hair, hazel eyes almost like honey and her tan skin. The lost look she carries in her eyes.
My phone rings again knocking me out of thoughts. I park in front of my house and answer.
"Did you brake up with my sister? She's crying like a little baby." I wish.
"No, I'm just in a bad mood and she assumed I had another girl and started crying, you know how she is." I sigh.
"I figured, she's annoying the lights out of me so can you please call her?"
"Yeah bro, no prob." I responded and he hung up.
I dialed Macy's number and she answered with a sniffle.
"I love you.." she said. I stayed silent for a couple of seconds and got out of my car.
"I'm not breaking up with you."
"Promise?" She automatically cheered up. Sometimes I wish the thought of losing me were sincere.
"Yeah, but I'm really tired and heading to bed." I lied.
