Luna's POV

~*~

The thunder kept on roaring and you could hear the rain pouring.

"How about I take you home and we talk on the way there?" He suggested.

"I still have a class to go to and so do you." I yanked my arm back.

"Luna please..." His eyes were begging me and I felt compelled to agree so I did just that, I skipped class for Greyson Hastings.

We ran to his car while getting soaked in the rain. The sky was completely dark and every time I saw a lightning strike I closed my eyes super hard. If there is something that makes me nervous its lighting. Once we were inside the car he turned on the heater, the radio and started to drive.

"We should change to dry clothes; you can get pneumonia or something and I know your lungs like to play games with you sometimes." He smiled.

"Hey well I guess you too have that in common huh?" rolled my eyes.

"I was trying to make a joke." He cleared his throat.

"I wasn't." I shrugged.

"Alrighty then... so I just want to clear that I didn't say anything about you or anything about you being a foster kid."

"Whatever." I looked out the window watching the trees move from how intense the wind was getting.

The radio went from music to a weather announcement talking about a mayor thunderstorm and floods. They warned to get to the nearest safe place and to get off the road.

"I think we should pull over." I told him. "Other than hating being here with you right now I really hate lightning and I'm kind of freaking out right now."

"Our house are 25 minutes away, maybe we should stop at the Sherell Hotel which is only 2 minutes away, plus it's safer there than in the car." He took a turn to the right.

"Sure but since this whole skipping school was your idea then that means you're paying."

We pulled up to this huge hotel and ran to the entrance getting super soaked again. If I don't die from pneumonia today, then I guess I'm fucking immortal. Inside it was completely luxurious and the paintings they had on the walls were simply amazing. Greyson went to the front desk as I continued to admire the decoration of the place. It almost had like a white and gold theme with high ceilings and the most beautiful furniture. I have never set foot in a place like this, it was almost like heaven.

"I got us a room, lets go." Greyson took my hand and practically dragged me to the elevator.  We went up 10 floors and walked a long ass hallways before getting to the room. He opened the door revealing the suite which had the same theme as the lobby. It was spacious and a huge view of outside making me hate that it was raining the way it was. There was only one king size bed, a mini kitchen, a living room, well it was practically an apartment furnished and ready to go.

"Wow this is beautiful." I say as we walk in.

"Yeah, you should go shower and change into some warm clothes. Here I brought my baseball practice bag I always carry clean clothes in it. Pick out whatever you want." He puts the bag on the bed.

"Alrighty..." I open his bag which is loaded with clothes like if he were planning a weekend trip. "Why do you carry so many clothes just for practice?" I ask.

"I don't know. I guess you never know what can happen." He shrugged as his hair dripped a little drop of rain on his cheek.

I look through the bag and find his baseball shirt, some other t-shirts, 3 boxers, his sweats, deodorant, shower gel, 5 socks, shoes, snacks.

"What is this? Nanny mcphee's bag?" I joke.

"Just take some clothes." He chuckles and he walks into the mini kitchen area.

"Fine." I grab some clothes and go to find the bathroom. Not surprisingly the bathroom was enormous. I took a warm shower and most definitely took my time.

"Did you drown in there?" Greyson knocked on the door making me laugh quietly so he wouldn't notice.

"Don't worry I can save myself if I was." I got out of the shower, put some of his clothes on and a towel dried my hair a bit. A loud thunder hit making me jump. I quickly came out of the bathroom and notice the lights were off so there was a gray tone in the room, the only thing lighting the room was the television and the glass wall serving as view of the gloomy day.

"Final-" He stopped in mid word with this mouth slightly open staring at me.

"Starring is rude you know." I closed the curtains making the room a lot darker. I just didn't want to continue seeing the lighting. "You showered?" Noticing he was dry and in changed clothes and when I say clothes, I mean just in his boxers.

He cleared his throat before speaking. "Um- yeah there is another bathroom just way smaller.

"Of course there is." I said in a duh tone. I felt kind of dumb not knowing there would be another bathroom in this suite.

"My, uh- baseball jersey looks great on you." He smiled kind of embarrassed.

"Yeah, thanks for the clothes this is soooo comfortable, I just hate all the buttons." His uniform shirt came up to around mid-thigh maybe just a tinsy bit higher. Thank God I always bring spare underwear in my purse in case if I get my period while in school, sadly I didn't have a spare bra so I guess if there is something Greyson really appreciated was how cold the room was if you know what I mean.

"So you're not mad at me?" he asked.

"I really don't want to talk about it." I climb into the bed and pull the covers over me.

"Can I?" I pointed to the bed nervously.

"Sure whatever, its pretty big. Just stay on your side." I shrugged.

"I broke up with Macy before coming to talk to you." He said as he got in the bed.

A million questions flooded in my head but I knew better than to ask.

"And I care why?." Was all I could say.

A thunder hit and it was so loud I just shut my eyes tightly. I felt him scoot over and wrap his arm around me pulling me in to his side.

"I'm fine." I pull away.

"Oh, shut up and come here you scaredy cat." He chuckled as he pulled me in again.

"Whatever, don't take advantage of the situation, consider yourself lucky." I reply trying to hide what I was really feeling. "Turn the news on to see how long I'm going to be stranded in this torture."

He obeyed and turned on the news. The weatherman said we were under a massive tropical storm watch, there were winds increasing speed and 3 times the rain. They said it was weird how fast it was forming so we had to stay put for 24 hours for our safety. They mentioned the storm was going to be an ugly one.

"You've got to be kidding me. I can't stand a whole day of lightning storms." I turned off the stupid television leaving only the small kitchen light on.

I looked up at Greyson and could fairly see a smile plastered on his face. "Looks like you are stuck with me for the next 24 hours."

Any thoughts? Let me know in the comments.

As some of you know I currently live in Puerto Rico and right now we have the passing of hurricane Irma which is category 5. I fortunately live on the southwest of the island so all I got was lots of rain and thunder, no damage. Soon the hurricane will hit other places here in the Carribean and eventually Florida. If you live in places where this hurricane will hit, please be safe and look for a good refuge to stay in. I love you guys.
