Greyson's POV
~*~
"I don't give two fucks what you said to me to your little girlfriend okay?" She sniffled and got closer to my face. "I've heard it all Hastings, all the insults and humiliations that you could imagine so you words don't hurt." A tear rolled down her cheek but when I tried to wipe it off she smacked my hand away. "I used to think you were just an annoying rich kid who needed a little attention but know I see you for the true hypocrite that you really are. And don't let tears fool you Hastings, they are made of pure fury so don't go flattering yourself. You and people like you disgust me and for the record I'm the one who feels sorry for you. That emptiness you feel inside makes you an equal to me your highness with the exception that I'm not a lowlife like you." She looked at me in complete disgust and walked away.
It felt like a hit to the heart. I would never say the things I'm being accused of. Is she so blind not to see what I feel for her? Now she will never forgive me for this, how will I say sorry for something I didn't think or say...
"Where did she go bro?" I heard Alec behind me.
"I have no idea." I could barely speak. Her face and the hurt expression she had was engraved in my mind.
"You really out did yourself this time huh?! She didn't deserve that. Who are you man?" Alec looked at me in disbelief as if he too believed that I would say those things. Before I could even try to explain myself, Alec pushed by me and ran after Luna.
I just stood there in the middle of the hallways not knowing what to do, what to say or even what to think. I don't think there is much to do anyways, she is with asshole Jason and I'm with Macy. I decided to just walk back to the cafeteria and ask Savannah to text Luna, it wasn't my place to run after her anyways, right?
Finally reaching the table I sat back down. "Savannah will you text her and see if she is okay?"
I felt Macy's hand slap my arm. "Why do you care?! Stop giving that girl so much attention I'm so sick of your crap Greyson!" she got up and left.
"Great that's just what I needed now too." I sighed and rolled my eyes. "Has she texted back Sav?"
"If she did I wouldn't even tell you. You are lucky I'm seven months pregnant or else I would of kicked your damn ass!" Savannah snapped.
"Oh, come on you know I would never say any of those things. Macy just said all of that to make Luna feel bad."
"You know what Greyson? It doesn't matter is you did or didn't say all of those things because at the end of the day you actually let Macy say those words and you didn't do anything about it, not one thing at all." Savannah couldn't even look at me.
"Well what would you rather me do? Muzzle Macy?! It's not like I can control what she says."
"YES! Muzzle the bitch! I don't know how you can even stand her!" Savannah practically yelled.
"Calm down, she is still my girlfriend okay?!" I got up from the table and started walking to leave the school. After this there is no way I was going to class.
I got in my car and went home. As usual my parents weren't home, I'm kind of glad. Once I reached my room I went straight to my window to see if maybe Luna came home. There was no sign that she was though.
"Where could she be?" I thought to myself as I plopped on my bed. "I'm sorry..." It almost came out as a whisper. I can't handle not knowing if she is okay o not. "To hell with it I will just call her." I said as I pulled my phone from my pocket and dialed her number. It rang a couple of times before someone picked up.
"Hello?" A manly voice said. I recognized it as Alec's.
"How is she?"
"She doesn't want to talk to you and sincerely neither to I." He said.
"Oh come on Alec, I'm your best friend do you think I would actually say something like that? You know Macy is just really jealous of Luna and wants to get under her skin. Bro, I would never in a million years say those words." I struggled to speak for some reason.
"Your right man but how about you just give her some air huh?"
"Where are you guys anyways?" The curiosity was biting at my gut.
"We are at my house; she is just taking a shower. I'll tell her that you called though if you want."
His word were like a punch to the face. Jealousy was boiling my blood. I can't believe I'm jealous of my best friend this is ridiculous.
"A shower?" I asked trying not to show my anger.
"Yeah, she picked up some comfortable clothes from her house. And since Mom and Dad are working and Macy has cheerleading practice until late today Luna is going to be here for a bit. I think we are just going to chill and watch some movies." He replied.
"Oh, that's cool. So, is Savannah going?"
"I don't think so why?" He asked.
"Nothing man." I shrugged it off. "It's alright don't tell her that I called." I hung up the phone before he could say anything else.
I changed my clothes to swim wear and decided to do some laps around the pool to cool off before my skin was set on fire. Why am I always the damn bad guy? Why can't there be anybody on my side for just once damn it!
"Greyssonnn!?" I heard someone yell from afar. "Sweetheart?!"
"In the pool Mother!" I yelled back.
"Honey, what are you doing home? Are you okay?" She walked a bit closer.
"Yeah, whatever its not like you ever cared anyways." I got out of the pool and grabbed a towel to dry off.
"You watch that tongue of your young man! I'm still your mother!" She fumed.
"Oh yeah? Since when?"
No response.
"Yeah that's what I thought. If I ever want to talk to a 'mother figure' I'll be sure enough to call one of my old nannies." I just walked right past her and back to my room.
