Luna's POV

"And you are?" Ezra asked him. I felt him straighten up and clench his jaw a little defensively.

"I'm Greyson, Luna's boyfriend." He clenched his fists.

My eyes almost popped out of my head when he said that.

"Funny because she never mentioned having a boyfriend." Ezra got up to face Greyson. They were face to face as if it were an alfa show down.

"Greyson, you are not my boyfriend! You already have a girlfriend and her name is Macy." I tried to get in between the boys.

"I already explained about that." He growled at me.

"Actually, that's the opposite of what you did." I rolled my eyes.

"So, what then? You just go find another random guy to be with? Like being with Jason wasn't enough." He almost spat.

Every single word hurt like a knife driving through my chest.

"You better watch how you talk about my sister!" Ezra growled as he grabbed Greyson by the collar.

As soon as the word 'sister' came out of Ezra's mouth Greyson started looking back and forth at us.

"She is not your sister, she a foster kid." He said trying to wrap his head around everything.

"She is, and she isn't just a foster kid, she's my family so shut the hell up and keep walking pal." Ezra let go of Greyson's collar and shoved him back a few steps.

"Greyson stop, just go back to your room." I pleaded.

"I'm not going to our room without you, we need to talk." Greyson responded.

"I'm done talking, I already told you, I'm not in. Go call Macy she's the one that needs you, not me."

"Fine." He said with his fists clenched and walked away.

Could this day have anymore drama?!

"So do you want to explain?" Ez asked me.

"Not really." I let out a breath of air.

"Do you like him?" Ezra sat back down and I followed.

"No? I can't stand him but sometimes when he is close my heart beats really fast, my stomach feels like it's doing all kinds of flips. He's a rich, entitled, sarcastic kid. Excellent at annoying me. Sometimes I feel like there's even a dark side to him. It's just all so weird. Where ever he goes, drama follows and by that I mean his bitch girlfriend. It's just really complicated."

"Do you want my honest opinion?" Ezra sighed.

"Always." I half smiled.

"I think you should stay away from him. He has a girlfriend and if you keep getting close to him you are just going to catch feelings way to hard and that is something you can't just go to the store and return it with a receipt. You said it yourself, drama follows him and if you feel like he has a dark side then maybe you should stay away. You're in a good home so don't jeopardize that, don't be sucked in to all that, please. I just want to see you happy." He placed a loose strand of my hair behind my ear.

"I know Ez."

"So how about I give you your bike." He tried to lift the mood.

"Yes, take me to my baby." I laughed softly as he placed his arm around my shoulders.

He guided me to what seemed to be an indoor parking if that makes any sense, I mean is there anything this hotel doesn't have? Between many cars I spotted her and immediately started running towards her.

"Oh, how I've missed you sweet baby Velvet." I ran my fingers against the seat of my motorcycle. My eyes watered up and I'm not sure if it was because of the emotional day or from joy. "Thank you." I wrapped my arms around Ezra.

"Your welcome." He hugged me back tightly.

"I've missed you so much." I sniffled making him take a step back and look at me.

"You never cry unless your seriously pissed off, what's wrong?" He frowned.

"It's nothing, I promise." I swiped away a tear that slipped out.

"Don't lie to me." His face showed so much worry.

"I'm not, I just really missed you." I punched him lightly on the shoulder. "It's been a sweet and sour kind of day."

Get it together Luna!

"Listen Luna, I know sometimes you feel alone and especially now that they split us up again but you need to keep your head up, you are the strongest person I know. Hell, you even inspire me to keep going and move forward. You have been the sister life didn't give me, forever and always. You are the girl that taught me how to throw a punch when we were 6, you are my favorite person in the whole world, so remember that when you miss me. I love you kid." He hugged me again.

"I love you more." I shut my eyes tightly.

"There is also something else I have to tell you and you will not like it." I felt him sigh. "I need to tell you before I leave."

I pulled away. "Are you leaving today? Can't you stay until tomorrow at least?"

"I never asked permission to come so I have to go back now that the rain is going away. I'm sorry I can't stay."

"Oh, come on just stay another night, it won't kill you. You are already breaking the rules anyways." I threw my hands in the air but he gave me a look where I knew there was no convincing him. "Ugh, fine. Just tell me whatever it is that I won't like to hear." I rolled my eyes.

"He applied for parole and is having a hearing in a couple of weeks." He bit his lip.

"What are you talking about?" I furrowed my eyebrows and started shaking my head in disbelief. This can't be happening.

"He won't get it though, they would never let him out after everything that happened. And if he does I will come and protect you I promise. I won't even let him hurt you again. That son of a bitch Robinson will never come not even a 50 feet distance of you."

Ezra's words felt like they were fading away as he kept of talking. I mean this can't be happening to me right? The thought of that man free out in the streets makes it hard to breathe, Ezra's image became a little blurry and the room felt like it was spinning. I almost felt like I was floating before everything started going black. I could hear Ezra yelling my name but it was almost like he was really far away and I couldn't open my eyes, before I knew it I blacked out.
