Chapter 11; Walima

It had been a week and a half since the ruksti and today was the walima day, it would have been a very simple event only between the family so Mom had told me. I was arranging a few things to take to the salon, my phone rang, but I was already late so I ignored for the first time, but when It ring for the third time Rayan said "Your phone has been ringing for half an hour!", I'm busy and late so I'll answer later, I was still answering him when the phone ring again. He got bored of the ringtone so he got up and said "Someone Azlan is calling you", I stopped immediately and stood still, why was Azlan calling me ? what is Rayan going through, putting my questions aside I turned to pick up the phone and answer it.

"Heyy Masheal, how are you, why you didn't go back to America with your parents? Holidays are almost over" said Azlan, hmm Azlan I'll explain it later, I can't talk now so I'll call you later and i switched off . Rayan was watching and listening to me the entire time of the call, I walked away, grabbed my things and walked out of the room. The event was supposed to be a simple thing, but it wasn't. Hall was full of people, I missed my parents when I was getting in the car to go home. They must have been there to greet me but it wasn't like that.. but Mom and Dad did their best not to make me miss my parents and this made me happy. I already didn't feel well all day, then the thought that I was fully dressed again with Zoya dress and this destroyed me even more.

My condition deteriorated when we were in the car. I felt short of breath, the air was not enough and the space seemed short and at the same time I also started crying. "Rayan, Masheal is having a panic attack" said Aynoor who was in the car with us, "Eh eh eh what should I or what can I do," Rayan said in a panic. I took off the veil from my head and meanwhile Aynnor started to open my dress from behind so I could breathe better, meanwhile Rayan also stopped the car so I could even go out for a bit to breathe better. Stopped the car I immediately ran out of the car and started taking short walks to get calm again, but nothing was helping me "Masheal, don't worry, breathe take some nice long breaths" Aynoor said and I did after she also given the water but I couldn't calm down, and I started walking again always crying with Aynnor to at least breathe some air... nothing improved my condition, in fact I felt much worse.

I was sitting down on the ground desperate, i have next to me Aynoor who was trying to calm me down when Rayan took me by arm and pushed me into a strong hug. "Calm down! I'm here" he said hugging, I can't take it anymore, I said crying and in the meantime I fell him massaging my hair to relax me more and meanwhile Aynnor had left us alone and she got into the car. After a while I calmed down and got in the back car with Aynnor and fell asleep there in the car.
