James opened the black book his grandfather gave him. He rubbed his thumb against the coarse cloth of the book cover as he stared at the first page of the mysterious book.

"History of... the Specially Annointed" it read in full. James paid no mind to the words that were not there before.

He turned to the next page. 'Chapter I' is all it read in large text. He flipped to the next page that was filled with smaller text. James began to read the page. It told a story about a fallen angel who defied God and turned to sin. The angel had become corrupted so much by sin that he became the embodiment of sin itself. To stop the fallen angel from corrupting the rest of the world, God built a prison for him and named it Hell. Many centuries later, the fallen angel escaped Hell and began to terrorize the land. God chose among the people a righteous and holy knight to take on a responsibility that only a holy man such as himself could bear.

"What are you reading?" A raspy voice called to James.

James turned and saw the voice had no source except the thin air.

"You don't need to read that. It's nonsenssse, it meaninglesss, it's falssse."

James turned back forward and saw no one again.

"No one is here, just the voice in your head, nothing more, nothing lesss. Don't you have to wake up?" The voice finished its sentence with an echo.

James slowly opened his eyes to the white ceiling above him, "Strange dream."

On top of James was Malo sprawled over the bed, cuddling his arm. He tried to pull his arm from her, but she wouldn't budge. She was holding onto it for dear life while fast asleep.

"Guess I'll have to wait," he looked at her peaceful expression as calmness washed over him.

Malo's eyes opened halfway, revealing her dim white eyes, "Time to wake up?"

"Yes, it's time. Can you let go of my arm."

"Oh yeah, sorry," she released his arm from her grasp.

His arm had black fur all over it along with his bed sheets, "I'm going to take a shower."

"Have fun," Malo yawned.

He got up, grabbed some clothes from his dresser, and walked slowly to the bathroom.

He hopped in the shower and stood under the warm water, "Hmm... that dream... I didn't like it, something strange about it. It left an uncanny feeling. Whatever," he held his head under the water, trying to wash away the sleepiness.

Malo swiftly got out of the bed when she heard the shower turn on. She began rummaging through all of Jame's clothes, "I neeeeed... this!" She pulled out a hoodie, "This will keep my face hidden... or at least hide the fact that it's invisible."

She kept searching and pulled out a white t-shirt and a pair of oversized dark blue jeans. She threw the pajamas she had been wearing on the bed and put the jeans up over her legs, "These fit alright for my wolf's legs, thankfully he had these," she then pulled the t-shirt over her head, unfortunately it didn't fit as well and it clung to her body and left her stomach exposed with black fur spilling out. She then pulled the hoodie over her head and flipped the hood over her head, "That should work," she pulled the hood back down.

The shower had stopped, and Malo put all the excess clothes neatly away. James walked in shortly after in a pair of jeans and a white t-shirt, "I like the outfit, surprised anything fits you."

"How dare you say that to a lady!" She gasped sarcasticly.

"Sorry, sorry, I didn't mean it like that."
