Commander Payne looked through the one-sided observation window into the cell of James and Malo. Rook and Hammer were standing next to him, looking too.

"Couple days ago, this entire wing was under some kind of anomaly attack that prevented all electronics from responding to any input," Commander Payne began to explain what they were doing here.

"Heard about that in the briefing. Rock n' roll blasted through the halls, and the lights went haywire," Hammer spoke as he looked at the two meander in their small box room.

"What they didn't tell you in the briefing is that they think she is responsible," the Commander pointed out the glass.

"Thought her abilities were neutralized."

"They thought so too, caused quite the scare," He smirked.

"Damn bitch," Hammer glared out the window.

"Watch it, Hammer."

Hammer looked over to the Commander, noticing the rosary around his hand. He looked away from him and turned to see Rook glaring through the glass with eyes like daggers.

"What the fuck is that look for?" Hammer interrupted his staring session.

"Nothing," he grimaced towards him, turning his attention from the one he was staring at.

"Whatever."

Malo was digging her claws into the concrete, drawing more pictures as James started walking up to the glass.

He happened to walk right up to the Commander and stare at him in his eyes. The Commander held his rosary up to his mouth, studying the young man's face.

James looked into the glass, looking at his reflection, "Jesus," he put a hand to his face, "this is what several months in prison does to a man."

"What are you talking about," she laughed.

"All this hair," he kept rubbing his face.

"What you don't like a little hair?" She turned and walked over.

"No, not on my face, I like it clean cut."

"Well, let me think," she started tapping her bone chin, thinking of a solution for him.

She stopped tapping her chin with her claw and looked at the sharp weapons that came from her fingertips, "hmh! I got it, if you'll follow me."

"Please don't pluck them out individually."

"No, just get over here," she waved over.

She sat on the floor against the wall. James walked over and stood over her. She patted a space on the floor between her legs.

"Sit down and lean your head back."

Commander Payne and Hammer watched as he sat down and did as she said.

He rested his head on her bossom. One of her claws retracted, and she pressed it up against his neck.

Hammer immediately bolted for the door, but Commander Payne grabbed him by his new prosthetic arm.

"Just watch," he said.

James looked up at her face as she spoke, "How easy would it be to just press a little too hard and cut into your throat?"

"Too easy," his neck moved as he spoke, pulling her sharp claw with the motion.

"I know, so I'll be careful," she smiled and began lightly and carefully dragging her claw against his face, trimming the hair down.
