Orange leaves swirled around in circles on the asphalt road in a lonesome part of the world. The only thing moving around was the foliage in the wind. And as the leaves kept dancing in circles under the gray skies, a sound of rushing became apparent, only growing louder and louder.

The armored SUV Dark Rainbow MTF had acquired barreled down the back road of some forested land of rolling hills. The orange leaves watched them but skirted to and fro, and soon the SUV drove through them, sending them flying through the air and fluttering back down to the ground.

No noise reached the inside of the insulated cabin of the SUV, only a low soothing rumble of the tires hugging the road.

"Here's the information on the site," Near broke the silence, "It's a large research outpost built around an anomaly into the side of a cliff. Its main purpose is to research and experiment on anomolous objects, but it has been long since abandoned around thirteen years ago. All anomolous assets have been extracted except for one, the one that it's built around."

"There is no reason to go there then other than for that anomaly. What is it?" Hammer asked.

Near scrolled through the multiple files until he found the one containing the anomaly, "Object class: safe, SCP-7456. Black sword with a glossy, glass-like surface made of unknown material. The anomaly is embedded in stone within a cave and can not be pulled from stone. Efforts to destroy the earth around the stone prove unaffected up to a 50-foot radius. The sword itself is indestructible as well and sustains no damage, appearing unaffected. The object is of interest because of the part of the blade that peeks out from the stone. In experimentation, the blade can seamlessly cut through any material. Can be used as a possible weapon to neutralize SCPs permanently if need be."

"Kill?" Black Block asked, a little fear in his heart.

"I believe that's what it means," Near looked up at them seriously.

"Whatever happens when we get there... don't let the enemy get that sword. The OCC will be there. I have a feeling," Hammer concluded as the interior of the vehicle returned to its insulated silence.

Not long after the one talk they shared during the ride, Hammer spotted the hidden dirt road that would lead them to the abandoned site. Slowing down and turning off the secluded road and onto the next, he eased into the vehicle's brake.

"What's wrong?" Commuter asked, peering from the back seat after noticing the stop.

"Tire tracks, OCC is already here," Black Block explained.

"We'll get as close as we can, hide the vehicle, and scout ahead," Hammer told them his plan as far as he knew it.

"I've been looking at the satellite photos. The site built into the cliff has another cliff across from it. We could get a good vantage point from there," Near looked up from his screen to tell him.

"Then that's where we'll go," Hammer took his foot off the brake and drove forward into the large swath of forest.

Making sure to keep their tire tracks hidden on the existing ones, they eventually reached as far as they would risk going without attracting any attention. Veering off of the dirt road and into a relatively obstacle free part of the woods, Hammer drove into a dip in the land so no one would spot them. Hopefully no one did already, they were quite close to the location as it was and there was the possibility that there were enemy scouts looking for someone like them to ambush their convoy as they searched the facility.

Opening the door to the outside, the sound vacuum was broken and replaced by the sound of dry twigs smacking each other in the wind. The cool air was a welcomed one as they placed their helmets that encapsulated their entire skull. Hammer and Black Block stood next to one another as feet crunching down on dead leaves stopped in front of them, except for one pair. Hammer walked to the back of the armored SUV, followed by the rest.
