"Hey Fox, check in on Fletcher, while I watch the hall."

"On it," Fox turned his attention away from the hallway and turned on his radio, "Hey Fletcher, what's your status?"

"Kkkzt."

"Fletcher? Status?" He waited a few moments before speaking again, "He isn't responding Alek."

"Something might of happened, stay here while I check the elevator room," Alek got up and went into the room.

He didn't spend much time in there before exiting, "still no power, I'm going to have to go to the breaker room and hopefully find him."

"I guess that leaves me here to guard our escape?"

"Yeah, it should be smooth, be right back."

Fox stopped him, "good luck man, I'll see you soon."

"Cant wait to leave this place, see you soon," Alek patted Fox on the shoulder and walked down the hallway before taking a turn down another.

Fox resumed his watch of the hallway.

Commander Zygi leaned up against a wall as he looked at the map on a screen on his wrist, another turn and he would be entering what the map called the 'mechanical sector'.

He turned the corner down a crossroad in the hallway, swiftly aiming his gun forward. Nothing was there except a thick gray metal door, splattered in blood, with a couple soldiers laying in pieces on the floor in pools of their own blood and spent bullets.

The door in front of him was hung open ajar. He approached it and slowly pressed his weight against the large door, pushing it open with all his strength. It made a long, nasty creak as he opened it. On the other side were more dead soldiers along with a thick wood plank on the ground split in half that must have been used to bar the door shut.

"Lord..." Zygi looked at the bodies scattered everywhere.

He slowly stepped around the corpses, trying to avoid the blood as much as possible, but there was too much to avoid. He left bloody prints behind him as he walked under the hissing pipes and snapping wires hanging from the ceiling.

"Just a little further, and I'll be there," he thought to himself.

"Stay away, demon!" Gunfire suddenly rang from deeper in the bunker.

Zygi ran for cover behind a crate. He crouched behind it in anticipation for whatever would transpire.

"Stay away from me!" Zygi heard the voice yell.

"Stay away from me!" Zygi heard the voice again, but something was different about it.

"No! Stop!" More bursts of gunfire erupted.

"Where... AHHH!" The voice cut off as the person screamed in agony. What sounded like bones being splintered in half and the gushing of blood came quickly after.

Zygi listened without looking as he remained in a state of focus. As he listened, he heard the sound of a body being dragged away.

Zygi got up slowly from behind the crate and began clearing the hallway before looking down another and seeing a thick smear of blood leading into darkness. He didn't see anything else, he quickly looked at the map and decided on a detour. He looked one more time down the hallway before running across it to another.

He kept walking down the hall as he made it to the outside of the reactor room. It had no handles, only a keycard reader on the side.

"Guess I need a keycard of my own," he looked around. A dead body was leaned against a wall.
