"Mum I'm home!" I call out as I walk inside the door. I shut it behind me and get a good look inside, waiting for her shrill voiced response. No answer.
"Mum?" No answer once again.
I walk into the kitchen to see if she left a note for me to say she will be out whilst I'm home for the time being, but I look around and nothing I was looking for was there.
I walk into my room, a little worried as to where Mum could be. She is normally waiting for me in the kitchen when I get back from school, and if she goes out she tells me where she is.
I stop when I open my door, and my mouth slightly drops open. My room has been trashed, my bed mattress lays in pieces, my draws pulled out with clothes and other objects that were sitting on my shelf and desk scattered on the floor. My curtains torn and a window smashed.
Panic floods inside of me, rising quickly. Mum was gone, and my room was trashed. Something wasn't if right and it obviously wasn't good either.
Then I have an idea. Whoever was looking through my room, had to be looking for something.
I run out of the house, and decide to call Sam. What if it has to do with the strange happenings lately? If so, she should be the first and only one to call.
Sorry, this chapter is exceptionally short, but I promise that the next following ones I will try to make a bit longer!
