~Myeong-Jun~
(Not too long later...)
The bowl-shaped arena pointed down to sharp gravel. Benches lined every wall, and every step. A tall canopy-like waterfall incased the queen.
Two "prisoners" were dangling above the gravel in two separate cages. Neither had shoes, so the sharp rocks below could pierce the souls of their feet. Simple cloths were dangled over them. It was difficult to tell what Tribe they were from.
Weapons lined the walls around the arena. The benches were only a few mere feet away from those blood-stained walls. Of course "her majesty" wouldn't want this place cleaned.
Next to the queen, sat Wisp and Rustic. They were each on either side of her. By her feet, was where she had seated Ken'ichi and Myeong.
'Tch.' Myeong-Jun thought as she looked at Wisp and Rustic. 'More followers of Edge.'
"Oh? I didn't think I'll see you here..." An unknown yet familiar voice mumbled.
Myeong-Jun whipped her head towards whoever had spoken. Her eyes met a white haired boy's eyes — The same boy that she tried to kill at the beach. The one 'Her Majesty' had told her about.
A hint of worry flashed through the boy's eyes. Almost as though he was worried for... her?
Why?
Why was he worried about her?
"Stop staring at me like that. It makes me sick. How could someone like you worry about the person who wants to kill you? You're insane." Myeong-Jun spat. She then turned her head away.
"Oh... was I staring?" Ken'ichi asked, in a quieter voice.
"I apologize if I made you feel uncomfortable in anyway." He murmured. The small hint of worry in his eyes then left, leaving him unreadable.
Without noticing it, she then softened her tone, "Why were you worried about me? Why would you worry about me?"
"Oh...It's nothing..." Ken'ichi mumbled. His gaze shifted to the arena. "Nothing at all."
Myeong-Jun lifted an eyebrow in curiosity, but before she could say something, she was cut off.
A horn blew. The sound was sort of melodic. It was the type of horn to be blown at festivals — Of course 'her majesty' would blow a horn at something like this.
A scrawny woman, who looked like she hadn't eaten in weeks, collapsed to the ground when the cage was released. Her fiery red hair shadowed her face like a curtain. As she got up, she placed a hand on her swollen belly.
  She was pregnant.
Her majesty was sending a pregnant woman and her unborn child out on this death field while she sat back in a chair and laughed.
What could someone do to make this happen?
She looked over to the other contestant, and her eyes widened in fear. She slowly tried to make her way over to the weapons. However, she tripped a couple of times, which slowed her down.
'Hmph. More of a reason to hate that so-called queen.' Myeong-Jun thought at once.
She was itching to kill the queen her thick-headed brother was so fond off. Annoyingly, she still couldn't right now. She wanted to give that queen a more slow, and painful death. A type of death that she deserves.
