Chasing Evelyn

We still haven't found Evelyn. It's been five days.

I don't know what they could be doing to her, I don't really want to know either.

Alastair walks in his office and I can see how stressed out he is, I can tell Aliyah is too since she hasn't been here since the last time.

"Did you find anything?" I ask, Alastair shakes his head and stares off into space. I sigh and run my hands over my face.

"Every place they show us she isn't there, it's as if they don't want us finding her." He says before looking at the door.

Claire walks in and hands him a paper before talking to him, my eyes flicker to it and I grab it looking at it.

My eyebrows furrow in confusion as I see what it says.

'Tell her boyfriend too meet me at the alley.'

I set the paper down and get up "you aren't actually going there?" Claire asks me, I shrug "if this is the only way I can get her back then so fucking be it." I say walking out slamming the door.

I heard footsteps behind me and they didn't until I got to my car "what." I grit.

"You can't go alone, it's not safe." Alastair says, i scoff "if you think I'm just going to sit here and not do anything then you have to be kidding." I say.

"You can't go alone. Claire, Cesare and I will be in the car behind you and you'll wear an earpiece so we can hear what's being said." Alastair says

I roll my eyes "there's no way of getting out of this. Is there?" I ask, Claire shakes her head before getting in the car.

"Since Leo isn't here to disable the cameras Selena will." Alastair says, for some reason I don't trust this Selena she seems as if she knows something but won't share it.

I nod my head before getting in the car and driving to the alley, it was almost dark out so by the time I got there it was night.

I sigh putting the ear piece in connecting it "can you hear us?" Selena asks, "yeah." I say.

She hums in approval "cameras are disabled, if he tries anything we need a safe word." Alastair says.

I scoff "I'm not the one who'll need a 'safe word' he will." I say getting out of the car.

I walk towards where he was and I can already see him there with that stupid grin. "Hey there." He grinned at me.

"Where is she." I grit, Rowan fake pouts "damn, we can't even have a conversation before having to talk about that bitch." He says.

It took everything in me to not beat the shit out of him for that.

"I'm not asking again." I grit, Rowan sighs before taking out piece of paper, my eyes harden at it.

"Do you think this is fucking funny?" I grit, Rowan smirked "i wouldn't say funny, more so fun. I heard Evelyn is seeing something at night now." He says.

I stare at him and realize what he meant. Their making her see them again.

"Aww, didn't like that? I'm sure you wouldn't mind seeing them again, being touched again, little one ." He said.

I couldn't stop hitting him. One hit after another, one shout after another i didn't stop.

He was part of the reason I didn't have Evelyn right now, part of the reason she was missing.

I stare down at his bloodied face "Elijah? What happened?" I heard, I couldn't process who was saying it.

I pulled out the gun before taking the safety off and turning the silencer on. And pull the trigger.
