you wake up dazed, your head spinning, the noises came crashing into reality all at once.
what is happening. you thought, you began to focus your ears on the sounds, Kris was laughing, celina was evil cackling, sam was singing taylor swift, but you couldnt hear the deep voice of colby echoing through the crowd.
the singing stopped and footsteps began stampeding towards you
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y/N!!" sam exclaimed as he widened his arms to embrace you for a morning hug
"sam you asshole! what is all of this?" you laughed as he let go
"A SURPRISE PARTY" sam said, he began dancing ridiculously, you began to laugh as kris walked in
"MORNING GIRLIE!! HAPPY BIRTHDAYYYY!!" she said as celina walked in chanting happy birthday to you
"oh my god thanks guys" you said smiling ear to ear, they remembered? but if they did where was colby?
sam read the look on your face, he was still smiling as his voice echoed through kris and Celina singing happy birthday very dramatically
"colbys coming! hes just picking up your cakeeeee" sam said
"ooo, im excited, ill just get ready for a party then"
"good because no party's fun when your dressed like a hobo" sam said laughing brightly as he saw you roll your eyes and chuckle, they exited out the door as you closed it and wandered to your wardrobe to find the perfect outfit for your 25th.
(15 minutes later)
you were finally dressed, after picking out a pale pink Knot Front Tube Top with a drawstring bodycon skirt, with sleeves that ran up your arms, your skirt sculpted your hips as you smiled at your outfit and admired your hair, a half up half down ponytail. you twirled it over and over till you were satisfied to go out to the party.
as you turned around you saw a figure at the doorway, their sleek black hair swept on their head, the tattoos that ran up his muscly arms, a body shaped by god.. his torso covered with a black shirt.. you could see his abs sticking out through his top, his ripped jeans that carved out his legs, and his face, looked as if it was sculpted by an artist.. you met their eyes and stared into the thunder blue pupils.
"well hi colby" you said grinning
"hey," he admired you for a second, scanning you up and down, you saw his smile expand as he finished staring at your body, he shifted comfortably as he said "cute outfit" he said, you blushed furiously and began to fidget with your hands awkwardly.
"you ready to go out to the party then?" he said, biting his lip as you stared up at him, smiling softly
"yeah sure," you said as you walked towards him, he looked down at your face, his body towered over you as his hands played with your hair, he smiled gently as he saw you blush.
"im surprised you didnt jump to ask why i was late" he said
"oh, sam said you were late getting the cake-" you said
"thats all? man i thought he told you the surprise-" he said
"wait what- a surprise?" you said, staring at him, your eyes widened.
"oops-" colby said, "well since you already know.. while i was out getting the cake i was picking up the gift i got you for your birthday, but when i ordered it i didnt know what you wanted, so i just got you something- small?, that i ordered a week ago" colby said
"like what?" you said tilting your head
his hand reached to his pocket, his eyes still connected with yours, "ta da" colby said, he pulled out a velvet wide small box wrapped in a silk white bow, your eyebrows furrowed with confusion. "what is it?" you giggled
"open it and see" he said smiling broadly as he placed it in your hands
you opened the velvet covered box, lightly pulling off the bow, you felt colbys eyes stare at your expression when your face began to carve with excitement, "oh colby!!" you said as you gasped at a gorgeous necklace, it was a silver locket of a heart covered with vines and a butterfly in the middle pattered with diamonds that glistened at your sight.
"open it" colby said happily
your fingers opened the locket, you peered in and saw a carving of your initials and colbys. 'y/i + c' you read in your mind
"so when me and sam are filming out somewhere far or dangerous, you can always remember your favourite out of the 2" colby said, laughing, you began to laugh too.
"well, you finally ready to go see the party?" he said
"not yet" you said, you picked up the necklace carefully, admiring the silver shimmering and bathing in the light, you turned around and walked back to the mirror and gracefully put on the necklace, colby smiled as he saw you grin, gracefully handling the locket with care.
