The king climbed, and climbed, until he was at the top. Tiredly, he reached, and grabbed the edge of the cliff. He hoisted himself up. Finally! He was at the top! His domain was here, and his rule was nigh! Suddenly, a loud crack emerged! Something long and bendy sprouted from the ground, and eyes the king. "WHO DARES TO DISTURB I!?" The worm-like creature boomed. "Your tyranny is at an end! I shall vanquish you, destructive serpent!" "YOU WILL FIND THAT YOUR REWARD DOES NOT COME EASY, ARROGANT CHILD! I AM MORE THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE!" "I hath come this far! I shall not give up now! Nay I say! I shall defeat you, and free this land from your rule!" "HEH... SO BE IT! HAHAHAHAHAAHA!"

Hooty pecked King off the mound of plushies, and hooted victoriously. King was both figuratively, and literally, butthurt. "Hooty! You pushed too hard!" "Well, I'm sorry! Forgive me for tryin' a have FUN once in a while!" The bird-worm scoffed. King sonic-screeched, knocking Hooty (and his porta-house) off from inside the mound. Hooty's head banged on the room's roof, causing the house to shake, bringing further pain to Hooty. Well, if he was connected, that is. King climbed to the top of the mound once more. "Haha! Yes! Victory is mine!" King then started to do a very strange dance, shaking his hips and making peace signs, which Hooty thought was bizarre. "King, why are you doing that? Also, WHAT is that!?" He shrieked. "Oh, it's from this video game. Luz taught me." Hooty then left, snapping himself back into the door. "Speaking of Luz, I have to thank her later. Teaching me all those long words from her Azura books was fun. Or, 'Teaching thou those words wath fun!'" Suddenly, the door swung open. Eda came from the kitchen looking very cross. "KING! For the last time! STOP. USING. AZURA LANGUAGE!" King retorted faster than Hooty could barf something up. "Witch, please! I have the moral high ground! I am a child after all!" Eda didn't have the energy for this. "Uughh..." She left, grumbling and moaning something about teenagers and hormones, which King didn't care to listen to. King clambered once more to the top of the plushie mound, one last time. He stood tall and proud, as if looking over a valley. He breathed a deep sigh, inhaling the "cool, mountain" air. He brought his soft companion to his side, and stood by his side. "Francois, we are but soldiers. Tides and waves in the ever-changing ocean we call our world. Good job. We shall live, and we shall die, heroes." In that moment, King felt, acted, and lived, like he was all grown up. Then, Luz walked in. "Hey guys, I'm back! Hi King! I brought you some num-nums! "Ooh! Tasty num-nums!"
