Coming home...

"Button mash all you want, MK. You'll never beat my Ancient Galloping Fury Power." Says Mei. Skillfully using the controls of the machine game, Monkey Mech!

"Up smash, up smash!"

Leo sighs, he watches as Mk pitifully tried to fight back Meis Avatar. "Let me take control." He says as he cracked his knuckles with a relaxed expression on his face as he did so.

"But you don't even know how to play-" Mk was cut off when Leo pushed him away from the controls and took over by force.

Mei gave Leo a challenging look, "Let's see what you can do Kid Shadow!"

Leo takes a deep breath as his hands hovered above the controls. With speed that the others did not expect he quickly got the upper hand.

Leo gave an evil smirk to Mei. Mei gawked in disbelief, "What- how are you doing this?! I thought you don't play games!" Beads of sweat start to run down her forehead as her avatars health bar went down.

MK's jaw dropped, he watched in amazement as Leo swiftly moved and pressed the controls with perfect timing.

With a press of a final button Mei's avatar was defeated in a total of 6 minutes and 12 seconds. Leo offered Mei a relaxed and smug smile, Mei looked at him in silent shock. The screen displayed, "Player 2 Wins!"

She snapped out of it when her phone rang. She pulled out her phone to see who it is, it was her mom. "Oh boy. Hi, Mom." Mei walks away from the group as she answered her moms call.

Mk snapped his head towards Leo, "Tell me how you did that!" He squealed, his smile ear to ear. Leo hums in thought, "I don't know..." he said his voice unsure but his face held a mischievous look.

Mk whines, "Oh, come on!" Leo held a neutral look as Mk continues to ask him questions.

"My parents -- they want me to housesit." Mei suddenly says awkwardly, MK's attention was on Mei now.

"And that's a bad thing?" Sandy asked in confusion.

Mei tries to explain, "No. Me and my parents, we --"

"Uh, did Mei say sleepover at her house?" Mk cut in to their conversation, making a conclusion right off the bat.

Leo noticed Mei's panicked expression and tries to correct Mk, key word "tried". "I don't think she said that-"

"Sleepover! I've always wanted to see inside Mei's secret Dragon House full of secret dragon stuff. Come on, please? Please, please, please, please, please?" Mk practically begged her.

Mei, in the end, agreed to Mk. "Sleepover it is." Her face looking upset and uncomfortable.

Leo stood beside Mei as Mk babble on about Mei's house. "Sorry about him, you know Mk... You ok?" He whispers to her, his eyes held a worried and understanding spark to them.

Mei gave Leo a small smile, "Yeah, it's just one sleep over. Hopefully, it goes well."

Unknown to them someone was watching them...

The teens and Sandy arrived and stood in front of Mei's house. "It's even better than I thought. Growing up here must have been great." Mk says with sparkling eyes of amazement.

"Mk don't just assume that." Leo scolds, his words gone deaf in MK's ears as Mk continued to look around.

"Yeah, I guess. But -- I don't know. When I was growing up, I just wanted to be rough and tumble. Break stuff. Look at bugs. You know, have fun just like normal girl stuff. But when your house is pretty much a museum and you come from a long line of ancient, noble dragons, that's kind of frowned on." She frowns sadly as she talks. But a not so real grin made its way on her face, "Anyway. Onwards to the definitely-not-going-to-be-terrible sleepover."
