Chapter 21

"Listen here bud, I got two kids and a husband to protect. You're not the only one." Monkey king says rolling his eyes at Demon bull king.

The bull king huffs in irritation, "Tsk, getting yourself captured "really protected" them."

Wukong glares at his friend-turned-enemy. "Same goes to you. You really sure are smart at pointing that out." The sage mocks making the bull king growl.

Wukong suddenly had an idea, he then keeps talking and mocking the other until they snapped. The bull demon tears Spider queens webs apart with a burst of power, tearing up the others bindings as well.

"Yes, it worked! Now I got to get out and find LeO-AHH!" Wukong was grabbed by the Bull King and got slammed against a wall to the floor. "Buddy, I was tryin to get you angry so-" Wukong reasoned trying not to get pummeled by his ex-friend.

"I know what you were doing, Simian." The bull demon says lowly, he proceeds to take the webs off of Wukong. He then hears footsteps walking away, "Uh, thanks!" The demon king only huffs in reply and smashed his way out of the room.

"I've honestly missed that guy." Wukong says to himself with a hand behind his head. He then ran from the room only to be met with many hall ways, "Man... this is gonna take forever! Oh, I know!" Wukong then punches the wall destroying it. The Golden monkey grins as he clenched his first.

Wukong finally arrives in a room after destroying walls and minions. The sage stares up with wide eyes, a large glass tube with glowing blue liquid was in front of him containing corrupted power. Inside the machinery was... Leo!

"Kid!-" Behind Monkey king, Lady Bone Demon makes herself known. "So, you thought you had all the pieces right where you wanted them." He turns his head to glare at the little girl.

"There are so many moves I have yet to play." Her innocent voice made Wukong disgusted, "You should have stayed buried." The sage growled as leaps at her but she disappeared right before his punch could land.

"I will rip the memory of you from this world." Her whisper echoes as she sends him visions of her inevitable future rule. Wukong went to attack her but she disappears again, He grits his teeth as he continues to hear her whispers.

Wukong shakes his head a focused, he looks towards to tube. He walks to it and breaks the glass, being careful not to hurt Leo in the process.

The sage holds Leo in his arms as the boy hang limply in his hold. "I got ya kid."

Meanwhile with Mk, he was currently trapped in Spider queens webs so we're the other, except macaque. "You really should've stayed in that spider cave of yours." The dark simian growls out swinging at the spider demon.

Spider queen dodges his attacks, the female demon was about to attack back but stopped. All of them stopped and looked up towards the Spider Mech. DBK burst his way out of the Mech, "I am no one's slave!" He lands and sends everyone flying but he goes to Red Son and rips off the webs.

"Father." DBKs eyes went to normal with a spark of worry as he looks at Red son for a moment and growls as he turns to Spider Queen. Red son sees Mei struggling to get out of the webs, he frees her with his flames.

All of them readied themselves as Spider Queen stood back up, her head wear falling off and breaking when it landed on the ground. She laughs maniacally, "All of you together can't beat me! I am the Queen!"

"Oh yeah?" A familiar voice asked, They look up to see Monkey King walking down the walls with Leo in his hold. He takes the staff and frees MK. "Well, I'm the King."

"Wukong!" Macaque cries in relief, he portals to both Wukong and Mk. "Mihou!- ack!" The sage was hit from the back of his head by his husband. "You idiot, don't get captured like that again. Reckless fool!" The dark monkey yells.

Wukong rubbed the back of his head, apologizing to his husband. "Is Leo ok?!" Mk ask as he took Leo out of Wukong's hold and into his arms.

"Yeah, he's fine. Just knocked out." Wukong assured, Macaque seemed to sense his partners change of demeanor. "Alright. Kid, you still have a spider to finish, I'll take care of Leo for you." Macaque says.

Mk reluctantly let Macaque take Leo. All of them faced Spider queen, except Leo and Macaque.

They all fought together and destroyed the Spider mech, defeating Spider Queen as well.

Mk cheers, but then gravity started to take  him. He screams as he starts to fall, suddenly he lands in a pair of large shadow hands. He looks at his savior and smiles in happiness and relief, "I really missed out on the action, didn't I?" Leo's voice coming out of the Kaiju. Mk laughs and shakes his head, "Your ok!" Leo laugh vibrated from the Kaiju, "Of course I am, can't get rid of me easily."

Leo's Kaiju land to the ground crating a large crater and clouds of dust. Mk thanks Leo for saving him, he then looks up so did Leo. They see the sky and they all look at the aurora lights lighting up the skies. "Woah!"

"Hah, now those are New Year's fireworks! Huh?" Wukong says, Macaque nods smiling up at the sky as he raps his arm around Wukong, rapping their tails together.

Everything went well at the end, but there is still something greater to come.

Mk and Leo sat together alone as the others let them be, "So, uhm, Mk..." Leo starts, he hesitantly placed a hand over MK's scooting close to the other boy. Mk hums and looks back at Leo, his eyes shining. To Leo's surprise Mk intertwined they hands together.

Leo took a deep breath. "I- I- I like you, Mk. Your such an amazing person, and I couldn't help but fall for you. The way you light up the mood is like lighting up the world! Your like a star that brought so much light in my dark nights, I want to stay like this, with you, for all my life i-if you feel the same way... I'll understand if you reject me now- and- I-I'm ok with that-" Leo's mouth got covered by a hand, belonging to Mk.

"Im not good at this whole confession thing, but all I know is that I feel the same way!" Mk says, his cheek growing flustered.

Leo blink as Mk pulls his hand away from his mouth, "So... does this mean we're together?" The shadow user ask with hopeful eyes  as his cheeks grew red as well.

Mk nods shyly, the two teens look at each other in the eyes and slowly leaned closer. "Come on, Kiss already! Honestly, why do romantic first kisses have to be so slow?" Mei shouts. The others cover her mouth while telling her to shut up.

The boys felt a drop of sweat run down their head, they awkwardly look at each other. "Yeah, she's right. Let do this quick." Leo suddenly says making Mk sputter, "W-what?"

Hand rapped themselves around MK's waist pulling the male closer to the other. Leo leans in and kisses Mk, Mk turned flustered but kissed back putting his arms over Leo's shoulders as he was dipped slightly backward.

A firework shoot out from behind the boys, it burst and formed a heart. Mei cheers and so did the others, the dragon girl takes a picture of the moment. Either for blackmail or for safe keeping's.
