A/n: Octavia uses they/them pronouns in this chapter. I'm not just using it for fun btw, I'm trying to learn how to incorporate a gender-non-conforming person into my stories. People who don't conform to gender are extremely hot. I mean, I have yet to meet an ugly person with they/them pronouns. I know I'm talking about looks here, but they all have different personalities, attractive personalities, some people can be assholes and I know that I'm so aware that people can be dicks for no reason-Sorry, I'm waffling ;)
P.S: This includes dealing with POTs (Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) is one of a group of disorders that have orthostatic intolerance (OI) as their primary symptom. OI is a condition in which an excessively reduced volume of blood returns to the heart after an individual stands up from a lying down position. But an episode of fainting can happen at any time if the individual is low in salts) but it also includes Age regression... I just wanted to make sure everyone feels comfortable and not alone! So, all of these chapters aren't going to be all the same with just ADHD, although I struggle with that, it's not the only thing that needs awareness. So if you have any suggestions don't hesitate to message or comment, I'm really sorry if this is bad... I'm not familiar with age regression I've read it only a couple of times I did a lot of research, like I hyper-focused for 5 hours tryna find out stuff to make this comforting and realistic.

It was 3 a.m, and darkness enveloped the room, except for the faint glow of a distant streetlamp. I didn't know what to do, I mean... It's the middle of the night. Why would anyone put the effort in to stay awake? Why would anyone want to put the effort into care? Why would anyone put the effort into love? Well, that's what I thought but now I found myself crying uncontrollably, seeking solace in Octavia, my roommate and best friend. Their gentle fingers played with my hair, providing unexpected comfort. A small moan escaped my lips, drawing Octavia's attention.
"Billie... It's okay," they whispered soothingly, their voice filled with concern. I held back a laugh because they thought I sobbed... when actually I moaned. But my unease deepened as I noticed something unusual – Octavia's heart beating against my ear, rapidly and alarmingly fast. It was a troubling sign, far from what I'd witnessed during their previous episodes, usually, it happened when they stood up for long periods of time, or laid down for a long time before standing up, but now I think it's just happening.
"Are... are you okay?" I stammered, my voice trembling with fear. Octavia's heart showed no sign of slowing down, and my anxiety soared. "Vee, please, calm down," I pleaded, lifting my head to meet their distant, unfocused gaze. They continued to play with my hair, but their eyes seemed far away.
As I watched Octavia's distant demeanour, my own panic intensified. I knew all too well about Octavia's condition – Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). I had helped them through previous episodes, but this was unlike anything I'd seen before.
But they held me closer when I went to pull away, "It's okay... everything's okay." They whispered in an assuring tone, placing a small kiss on my forehead making my heart flutter, but I had this unsettling feeling that something was terribly wrong. Fuck, I know what's going to happen if they don't calm down. Octavia has POTs. I've helped them before, but it's never happened like this... well I've never heard their heart beat that fast. Through my tear-filled eyes, I spotted Octavia's untouched McDonald's fries on the dresser. Panic surged within me; they needed salt to manage their condition. Despite my emotional feelings, I knew I had to act quickly.
I got off of, Octavia and placed my feet on the floor, walking to grab the fries. "Biwwie... I- It's-" Octavia tried to speak, their words now fragmented and childlike, their voice resembling that of a young kid. My heart ached as I realized the severity of their panic, that had caused them to regress. But I already knew what was about to happen so I continued to get the fries because to be honest, I didn't like seeing them when they were having an episode... it broke my heart.
