A/n: Do not read this if you think, someone being someone's 'fierce protecter' is considered cringey... to you. Because that's basically what this whole chapter is about :) I just thought of this right now: When Rick Astley dies, all of us will hesitate to click the news link out of fear of being rick roll'd.

Billie and Octavia had never been the kind of couple to conform to society's expectations. They were a perfect match, bound not by the usual frills of romance but by their shared love for simplicity and comfort. Their upcoming wedding was a testament to this unique bond they shared.
As the big day approached, the couple decided on a wedding that truly reflected their personalities. It would be a casual affair, no tuxedos or extravagant gowns, just a gathering of their closest friends and family in a cosy garden setting. Billie and Octavia planned to exchange their vows in jeans and hoodies, a symbol of their unpretentious love.
On the day of the wedding, the sun was shining brightly, casting a warm glow on the garden where the ceremony was set to take place. Billie and Octavia were a bundle of nerves mixed with excitement. Octavia wore a normal black hoodie, that had witnessed so much of their love story, while Billie's hoodie was crimson, a colour that she often saw and felt. They held hands, their eyes locked on each other, finding solace in each other's presence amidst the swirl of emotions.
Their close friend and usher, Logan, who had been with them through thick and thin, stepped up to the podium to begin the ceremony. She smiled at the couple, her heart warmed by the love she saw between them. "Does anyone object to this union?" she asked, as per tradition.
For a moment, the air grew tense, and Billie's protective instincts kicked in. In one swift, unexpected move, she lifted her hoodie, revealing a very real gun holstered at her side. The gasps from the guests were audible, and a guest who had been planning to object fell silent.
Octavia couldn't help but chuckle at Billie's dramatic display. She had always admired her partner's playful nature, even in the most serious moments. Billie, with a nod and a grin, lowered her hoodie, putting everyone at ease.
"Okay," Billie said, her voice warm and sincere, "Let's continue."
The ceremony proceeded smoothly, with heartfelt vows exchanged and rings placed on each other's fingers. The love between Billie and Octavia was palpable, a force that seemed to grow stronger in the presence of their loved ones.
As they sealed their love with a kiss, Billie's earlier display of protectiveness seemed like a distant memory. The garden filled with applause and cheers, celebrating not just the union of two people, but the triumph of love over adversity.
Later, during the reception, Billie and Octavia enjoyed their first dance as a married couple, swaying together in comfortable sneakers and hoodies. They didn't care that their wedding wasn't the grandest affair or the most conventional; it was uniquely theirs, a reflection of the deep love they shared.
Billie's gun, once a symbol of protection, now rested safely out of sight, no longer needed to make a statement. Their love spoke louder than any objections, and their wedding day had proved that nothing could come between them and the beautiful life they were building together.

As the sun began to set on their wedding day, casting long shadows across the garden where they celebrated, a chilling threat emerged that sent a shiver down Octavia's spine. It was a threat that had lurked in the shadows, haunting her for weeks, and now it had reared its ugly head, casting a dark cloud over their joyous occasion.
