Emily furrowed her eyebrows as she was deep in thought.
"Emily? What is it?" Hotch asked softly.
"Something he said," Emily responded looking at him. "My partner suggests I throw you around a bit."
"Does that mean something to you?" Rossi asked and she nodded her head.
"Yeah, it- I've heard it before. I just can't think of-" All of a sudden she stopped, her eyes widening. "That son of a bitch."
"What is it?" Jane asked, Derek walking over to ask the same thing.
Emily looked over at everyone. "It's Will. That's his partner."
The whole room stood in silence until Spencer spoke up.
"Will?" He asked softly with furrowed eyebrows. "Are you sure?"
"Yeah, Prentiss. I get it that Will is pretty sketchy, but do you think he's really capable of all of this?" Derek asked.
"I am more positive of Will being Alvin's partner than I am my own sexuality and I'm married to a woman," Emily replied harshly. "I'm sorry," she sighed. "Yes, it's Will. After we all got back from the first case, I was staying with JJ and Will finally made it over. They were dating at the time, and he said, 'I came as soon as I could. I was working a case and didn't want to leave in the middle of it.' Then when she reluctantly told him Alvin beat her, he said, 'And all he did was throw you around a bit?'"
"That...that...Jerk!" Garcia shouted, her cheeks turning a rosy shade of red.
"Yeah, Garcia, the word I think you're looking for is asshole," Jane said.
"Mother fucker," Frankie joined in.
"Bitch ass," Derek added.
Rossi nodded. "Personally I'd use bastard cu-"
"Okay I think that's enough name calling even if he could be called every word in the English dictionary," Hotch cut his colleague off, wanting to be the more professional one in the group.
"And Italian..." Rossi, Frankie and Jane said in unison calling them to smile at one another.
The side of Aaron's lips upturned as he turned to their tech analyst. "Garcia can you get ahold of the New Orleans Police Department? See when he worked his last shift."
"Yes sir," the woman nodded and turned in her seat and began typing away, her fingers moving fast.
"Someone try and call Will and see if he answers. It's a long shot but it's worth a try," Hotch continued giving out orders Rossi nodded and walked away to try and call him. "Reid, call New Orleans Police Department and see when Will's last shift was or when he was last seen.""They're still local," Morgan said. "They have to be. There's no way they could have had enough time to take JJ, leave the state and get her into the building in the amount of time there was between when she was kidnapped and when we got that live stream invitation."
Hotch stood with his arms crossed, looking at the tv screen where JJ was being held up by the chains. "You're right but I just wish they would give us something. Anything to go off of."
"As suspected, Will didn't answer; It went straight to voicemail. Alvin isn't the smartest but he's surprisingly smarter than we give him credit for. Will's a cop so he knows how we do things but if he can go to the lengths of working with Alvin, I'd be more than willing to bet that he has anger and resentment toward one or both of the girls. Sooner or later one of them is bound to slip up," Rossi announced as he made it back to them.
"My money is on Will. Alvin has been careful so far," Morgan replied.
"Maybe but what happens when you put two dominant unsubs in a room together for too long?" Jane questioned and they all looked around.
