JJ screamed out as Will shocked her with the cattle prod. She doesn't know how many times they've used it on her but she knew it couldn't be good. The blonde was writhing in pain, thrashing against her restraints.

"Please, stop," she pleaded, barely above a whisper. "I can't do this anymore."

"I don't care, Jennifer," Will dismissed before shocking her once more. He sat the cattle prod down before grabbing a towel and gallon of water, wetting the towel as he headed over to his ex.

"No no no no," she cried and shook her head. "No, don't do this, Will."

He glanced up at her before shaking his head. "You let him touch you. I thought you were better than that."

"I didn't." She slowly shook her head. "I didn't let-"

"Emily doesn't care about you, Jennifer," he cut her off. "She definitely won't care now. You're too damaged for anyone to love. You are unlovable."

God she hated this man. Before she could say anything, he draped the towel over her head and slowly poured water over her face.

She tried not to breathe but as soon as the lack of air in her lungs was too painful, she took in a big breath only to choke on water. Terror. Pure terror and she felt every agonizing second of it. Every agonizing second of her lungs burning as they filled with water.

Will poured more water on her face causing the same terrifying feeling. He was drowning her and she fought as best as she could but like every other time, it was useless. It was only draining her. but if this was her last chance, she was going to fight with everything she had until her last breath.

Will poured water over her a third time and like every time, she couldn't get any from it. She couldn't put her head at any angle that stopped this torture, and she couldn't break free. Her time was running out and the more oxygen she was losing, the more energy she was expelling, the harder it was.

And then her body forced her to breathe.

Immediately, she inhaled not air, but water, gasping and choking on it as her body desperately searched for air. but there was only water, nothing else, and JJ could feel it filling her lungs, a painful feeling as she began the process of drowning. Everything around her narrowed down to a pinprick of awareness as her lungs seized. She was going to die here. She was going to drown.

And then suddenly, the water was gone and she was coughing, weakly at first as there wasn't room in her lungs for the air and then, as the water was pushed out, harder and harder until that was all she could feel. It felt like it went on forever until it finally eased up and JJ was able to breathe mostly normally again.

Will used the same towel to clean the blood off her face, neck, chest, arms and torso when she had stopped coughing. He sat the towel and gallon of water on the cold cement floor beside her and looked back at her.

"Why couldn't you just love me?" He asked her, no longer angry but... hurt? Sad? In her current state of awareness, it was hard for her to decipher his emotions. Or his reactions, or anything else other then the pain in her lungs, really.

Will continued on his rant as he stood behind JJ and put his hands on her body. "Why couldn't you have just stayed? Couldn't you see I made a mistake? I should have come to straight away when I got the call. I should have stopped what I was doing and handed the case off to someone else. You were right, Jennifer. Okay? You were right!"

The more he talked, the angrier he seemed to get. All JJ could focus on was his hands slowly trailing down her body. It made her shifter and want to throw up. The thought of him- or anyone touching her, made her nauseous.
