𝑨𝑳𝑻𝑯𝑶𝑼𝑮𝑯 many claimed to have seen the beautiful and sprawling fields of Naboo with their own eyes, it was absolutely nothing like sitting in the midst of them when the sun was shining brightly and the grass tickled your calves with their small weeds. Lia, Anakin, and Padmé sat in those very same fields with a picnic blanket spread out in between them. The conversation of Anakin and Lia's sudden and passionate first kiss was being kept under wraps to the delight of the brunette and displeasure of the blonde.

"I don't know..." Lia trailed off

She blushed slightly.

"Sure you do. You just don't want to tell me." Anakin replied

"You gonna use one of your Jedi mind tricks on me?" Lia asked, playfully

"They only work on the weak-minded." Anakin said

Lia looked at Padmé, who was already giggling, remembering her first crush.

"All right. I was 11. His name was Cassian. We were neighbors. He was a few years older than me. Very cute. Dark, curly hair. Dreamy eyes." Lia said

"All right, I get the picture. Whatever happened to him?" Anakin asked

"I went on to become Padmé's official bodyguard and he went on to become a pilot." Lia said

Padmé continued giggling and Lia gave her a look.

"What are you giggling about future Mrs. Palo Jemabie?" Lia teased

Padmé stopped giggling and Anakin looked at her, slightly interested.

"Who's Palo?" Anakin asked

"Padmé's first crush." Lia answered

"Now you have to tell me." Anakin said

"I was 12 and he was a few years older than I. We were both in the Legislative Youth Program." Padmé explained

"What happened to him?" Anakin asked

"I went into public service; he went on to become an artist." Padmé said

"Maybe he was the smart one." Anakin commented

"You really don't like politicians, do you?" Lia asked, curiously

"I like two or three. I don't think the system works." Anakin said

"How would you have it work?" Padmé asked

"We need a system where the politicians sit down and discuss the problem, agree what's in the best interest of all the people, and then do it." Anakin said

"That's exactly what we do. The trouble is that people don't always agree." Padmé argued

"Well, then they should be made to." Anakin said

"By whom? Who's gonna make them?" Padmé asked

"I don't know. Someone." Anakin said

"You?" Lia asked

"Of course not me." Anakin said

"But someone." Lia stated

Anakin nodded.

"Someone wise." Anakin said

"Sounds an awful lot like a dictatorship to me." Padmé replied

A mischievous little grin crept across Anakin's face.

"Well, if it works." Anakin said

The twins stared at Anakin, both raising an eyebrow, while he just looked back at them, unable to hold back a smile.

"You're making fun of me." Padmé accused

"No. I'd be much too frightened to tease a Senator." Anakin said

The twins just chuckled, Lia looking at Anakin with a smile.

Later, Padmé had gone back to the house to get ready for dinner. Anakin and Lia had decided to stay out in the fields for a little longer. Lia giggled as Anakin rode a Shaak, sitting rather proudly on top of it. Eventually, the Shaak bucked and Anakin fell off, making Lia laugh even harder.

Anakin rolled slightly, turning to face the emerald weeds underneath him as Lia gasped at his condition, witnessing the entirety of his hard hitting fall and immediately becoming concerned, only really becoming worried for his life when he attempted to rise up from the ground to only slouch back down into his original slumped position, apparently too injured to get himself back up.

Due to the groans and moans emitting from Anakin's limp mouth, Lia - with a horrified expression on her face - bolted up and jogged slightly downhill where Anakin lay, terrified that she would find him either horribly injured or even worse, dead, though she strongly doubted that was the case with the minimal damage in his tumble.

"Anakin! Kin, are you all right?" Lia asked, worried

The brown haired woman turned him over and the blonde man started laughing. Lia burst out giggling at his stupid, practical, and dramatic joke. Latching onto the Naberrie girl's waist, Anakin flipped her over and over until they were rolling simultaneously down the hill, laughing their lungs out and wrapped in each other's arms.

When they finally landed in a puff of daises and daffodils and dandelions, Lia lightly straddled the Jedi Padawan, her giggles still shaking her chest and curling her soft lips. Lia looked in Anakin's ocean blue eyes. She couldn't look away. However, reality came crashing down on her and she got off of him.

"We should probably head back and get ready for dinner." Lia said

Anakin frowned but nodded, nonetheless.
