𝑳𝑰𝑨 was currently on a ship to Christophsis with R2-D2 and Anakin's new Padawan, Ahsoka. The planet of Christophsis came into view as they jumped out of hyperspace.
"A gunship is ready to bring you to the ground, ma'am." A Clone Trooper said
"Good, let's go." Lia said
The gunship landed on the ground and the hatch opened. Ahsoka walked down the hatch and Lia could see Anakin's and Obi-Wan's surprised faces at the sight of the Togruta. Lia smiled upon seeing her friends. She hadn't seen either one of them for months.
"A youngling?" Obi-Wan asked
"And who are you supposed to be?" Anakin asked, unimpressed
R2-D2 beeped excitedly.
"I'm Ahsoka. Master Yoda send me. I was told to tell both of you that you must get back to the Jedi Temple immediately. There's an emergency." Ahsoka informed
"Well, I don't know if you've noticed, but we're in a bit of an emergency right here." Anakin said
"Yes, our communications have been a bit unreliable, but we've been calling for help." Obi-Wan added
"Then you must be happy that I'm here, too." Lia said
She walked down the hatch. Both of the Jedi looked up and Lia smiled at them.
"Lia! What are you doing here?" Anakin asked
"Accompanying her." Lia replied
She nodded at Ahsoka.
"But it seems that I can be more useful after all." Lia said
"Master Yoda hadn't heard from you so he send us to deliver the message." Ahsoka said
Anakin sighed dramatically.
"Oh, great. They don't even know we're in trouble." Anakin complained
"Maybe you can relay a signal through the cruiser that just dropped us off." Ahsoka proposed
"Quick thinking, kid." Lia said
She gave the Padawan a proud smile. Lia was about to follow the others into the ship to contact the Jedi Council, but Anakin pulled her behind the ship and behind a stack off boxes. Then, he kissed her. Sparks were sent throughout her body and Lia felt as if the two of them were suddenly one. She wondered if he felt the same.
"I missed you so much." Anakin mumbled
"I missed you, too." Lia said, quietly
She placed her hands around his neck.
"What has it been? Six months?" Lia asked
"Six months and five days." Anakin corrected
A smile appeared on his lips. He then lowered his head so that their foreheads touched. For a moment, neither one of them moved, enjoying this small moment together, knowing it could be their last.
"We should head back to the others. They're probably wondering where we are." Lia mumbled
She pulled back so she could look her husband in the eye. She raised her hand and touched his cheek.
