𝑳𝑰𝑨'𝑺 apartment building was surrounded by the smog-shrouded city of Coruscant. Obi-Wan had come to visit the older Naberrie twin and was currently sitting on the couch next to Lia.
"Has Anakin been to see you?" Obi-Wan asked
"A few times. I was very happy to learn of his appointment to the Council." Lia said
"Yes. It is perhaps less than he deserves—though I'm afraid that it can be more than he can handle." Obi-Wan said
Lia nodded in understanding.
"You're not just here to say hello. Something is wrong, isn't it?" Lia asked
"It's Anakin. He's becoming moody and detached. He's been put in a difficult position as the Chancellor's representative, but I think it's more than that. I was hoping he may have talked to you." Obi-Wan said
"Why would he talk to me about his work?" Lia asked, feigning confusion
"Neither of you are very good at hiding your feelings, either." Obi-Wan said
"I don't know what you're talking about." Lia lied
"I am not blind, Malia. Though I have tried to be, for Anakin's sake. And for yours. Anakin has loved you since the day you met. He's never even tried to hide it, though we do not speak of it. We... pretend that I don't know. And I was happy to, because it made him happy. You made him happy, when nothing else ever truly could." Obi-Wan revealed
