(Gabe's Pov)

"Well what's the plan" Anathema asked putting her book down.

Bee and him looked at each other because they knew they had a foolproof plan. 

"Well me and Gabe created a three step plan" Bee started explaining, "First step get Crowley to realize he is love with Azi, step two Azi breaking up with Cody, and finally step three them getting together" Bee finishes with an accomplished smile. 

"Good plan but how" Nina asks.

"Right," Gabe begins, "Well first we need to somehow show Crolwey that he is in love with him. I suggest us dropping subtle hints to him about Azi. Then we need to show Azi that Cody isn't good for him or just hinting for them to break up cause you know Crowley. Then lastly, we force them to be in a enclosed space together so they finally pull their heads out of their asses and confess" 

The table pondered for a moment before all agreeing. 

"Ok so how about starting tonight we start doing this" Maggie suggested, to which everyone agreed.

With that the bell rang signaling the start of first period.

The day went by in a blur.

As Gabe was leaving the building he spotted Crowley and ran up to him.

"Hey Crowley"

"Hey Gabe" 

They walked in silence for a moment.

"How do you feel about Cody" Gabe asked getting almost straight to the point. 

This made Crowley literally growl, clearly he hit a nerve. 

"He's fine I guess why" Crowley asked through very gritted teeth getting quite agitated. Gabe knew he needed to be careful.

"Well I don't I guess I just don't really care for him all that much" Gabe said so causally, hopin for a reaction from Crowley. 

"Why? Has he done something? Is he abusive? Has he hurt people? Is he mean?" Crowley started rattling questions off.

"Well as far as I know, no to all of those, I just think Azi would be better with someone else is all." Gabe adds.

"Who?" Crowley asked so eagerly he was basically begging.

"Oh no one, I'm not even sure if the other guy feels the same you know, they are just friends I think but you never know" At this point Gabe wasn't even trying to be subtle.

Crowley was clueless.

"Well uh I gotta go this way uh bye Crowley" Gabe said with an exasperated sigh knowing it didn't work.

Meanwhile Crowley stood there frozen. 

"No Gabe don't you dare leave, who? who?" 

Gabe gave a little smirk, maybe he did do something.

Over the course of three months the rest of the gang had similar results.

"Did you know 75 % of people fall in love with their best friends" Anathema pointed out to Crowley one day in history class.

"Huh no I didn't that's cool"

"Have you ever been in love with your best friend Crowley" Anathema asked hopefully.

Crowley seemed to think it over however he ultimately said:

"no"

And went back to work.

Anathema wanted to scream at him but she too went back to work.

"You too would make a great couple" Nina said.

"Huh wait me and Azi, no" Crowley said though he didn't seem like he believed the words.

"Really" Nina added

"Yea why?" Crowley asked seeming more agitated. 

"Nothing" Nina said sadly.

"Whatever" Nina said and went back to watching titkok.

"I just love Azi don't you" Muriel asked one day when Azi was with Cody.

"I mean as a friend yea" Crowley added far too quickly.

"Really"

"Well yea he's my best friend"

Muriel sighed in defeat.

"Hey Crowley" 

"Hi Newt"

"I- nevermind"

"ok"

"Crowley, do you like anyone, I mean we are all dating here and I was wondering if their is anyone you fancy." Bee asked one day at the lunch table. 

Everyone looked at Crowley expectantly, even Azi, until they realized what they said. 

"Wait Bee you said 'everyone here is dating' who are you and Gabe dating" Nina asked and everyone nodded in agreement, even Crowley, thankful to have the attention off of himself. 

"Oh uh"

"Well"

They both looked at each other and mentally said fuck it.

they grabbed each other's hand and proudly said:

"Each other"

Which caused the entire table to erupt in a loud cheer followed by a chorus of "I knew it" and 'aww" or "good for ya'll" or "ya'll are so cute together" and the couple smiled.

They took a minute to revel in the attention but eventually they decided toget back to the matter at hand.

"Well Crowley, I'm still waiting on an answer"

Crowley seemed to be deep in thought for a minute before saying:

"Nope" And everyone looked defeated especially Azi.

"Hey guys I'm gonna go see Cody for a minute I'll be back" Azi said while getting up.

Crowley looked distressed at the thought of Azi leaving their table for Cody but he tried to play it off.

"I'm actually going to go to the bathroom" 

And with that Crowley left too.

"Ugh why isn't it working" Bee exclaimed clearly getting exhausted of this charade.

"I don't know" Anathema added.

And everyone nodded in agreement.

"We can't even get passed step on" Muriel said distressed.

"I know" Gabe said defeated. He really didn't know what else to do.

"Maybe we should take a little break and see if they can work it out together" Gabe said regretfully.

Everyone agreed and after a moment they went back to their normal lunchtime shenanigans. 

Neither Crowley or Azi came back to the table that day.

Hey guys another update this week, crazy I know. Good news though I have planned out all of the chapters(probably) and finally have the ending planned. This will probably help me update quicker because I actually have a plan instead of winging it. Hope you liked it!!
