Hey can I have your address?

Azi texted Cody to see where he has to walk to and when he realizes its only about a 15 minute walk Azi feels better. His dad has been pretty rough on him recently and he really didn't want to walk super far.

As he left his room he found his dad, awake, at the kitchen counter.

"Hey where the fu-fuck do you think you're going" His dad slurred placing his already half empty beer bottle. 

"Oh I'm going to my friends house" Azi said hoping his father doesn't ask any further question.

"Is this friend a boy" he spits out.

"No no It's a girl" Azi lied. 

"hmm"

He wasn't sure if his father believed him but nevertheless he let Azi leave.

On the walk over Azi again began listening to his playlist.

He played Bejeweled by Taylor Swift a few times but he also listened to Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy by Queen. 

It seems Crowley's taste has began to find it's way onto Azi's playlist. 

Once he finally arrived at Cody's house he walked up to the door and rang the doorbell. 

He was greeted by an older gentleman, probably around 50. He greeted Azi with a huge smile and introduced himself. 

"Hi I'm Alex Mason, Cody's dad but you can call me Alex. You must be oh I'm sorry how do you say your name it's slipped my mind." 

This man seemed like the direct opposite of Azi's father and that made Azi happy.

"Aziraphale but you can just call me Azi" 

"Well Azi, Cody is up in his room just up the stairs and to the left." He said while walking back to the kitchen.

Cody's house was nice, not super big but still spacious. He made his way up the steps and found his way to Cody's room.

Cody was sitting on his bed reading Heartstopper, Azi hadn't read it.

"Hey Cody" He called out.

Cody looked up and smiled at Azi and set his book down. 

"hey Azi come in"

Azi made his way in and sat next to Cody.

There was a beat of awkward silence until Azi spoke up.

"Is Heartstopper good, I haven't read it but I've been thinking about it" 

"It's amazing" Cody gushed and suddenly they weren't awkward anymore they talked for hours about books, movies, shows, music, everything.

Azi felt like he was really getting to know Cody and getting used to talking to him but no matter what Azi still didn't feel as comfortable with Cody as he did Crowley. That made his heart twitch and he felt guilty for still thinking about Crowley while he was talking with this incredibly nice boy. 

Throughout the day Crowley would text Azi 

Hey angel how is it going?

Is he nice?

ok I get you're busy just text me so I know he didn't like murder you

angel?

Ok I'm getting worried but instead of thinking he murdered you I'm just gonna think you are ignoring me because you are having the best day ever just let me know ok
