Chapter 13: The Plan

Yoriichi explained everything to Tamayo and his second encounter with Muzan. Tamayo was in relief Yoriichi broke out of Muzan's control.. having Yoriichi under your command with your selfish needs ends with catastrophe result for the poor souls..

Tanjiro sat there listening the conversation. "I'm glad you're alright Yoriichi.. thank you again Tanjiro." Tamayo smiled. But the angry assistant of hers, Yushiro was preparing a chainsaw. What a jealous overprotective assistant.

A few minutes have passed and curiousity hit Yoriichi. "Tanjiro, your ancestor was never a demon slayer. What your reason to become one?" Tanjiro then decided to reply "I became a demon slayer because I wanted to avenge my family.. they've been slaughtered by Muzan and even turned my sister into a demon. I became a slayer in hope of finding cure to turn Nezuko back into human and kill Kibutsuji." Tanjiro was very determined.

"Hm? turning a demon back to human is.. possible?" Yoriichi asked. Tamayo decided to do the explaining and Nezuko's blood. "It is possible to create a cure. I just need the upper moons blood.. I noticed you are Upper Moon One so Yoriichi.. please allow me to study your blood since you're the closest to Kibutsuji." Yoriichi nodded at Tamayo's request and allowed Tamayo take a sample. 

"Looks like Yoriichi misses his human form." Tanjiro spoke. "I do. I also wish to cure my brother too." Yoriichi replied. "You have a brother?" Tamayo asked. "Yes.. he is my older twin brother and he got turned into a demon by Muzan. He suffered a lot and I want to end it. if there is really a cure for demons to turn back into a human then I will do anything to achieve it." Yoriichi now showed so much determination.

"Alright thank you again Yoriichi. I still will never forget how much you helped me. I will do my best to create a cure. I will send chachamaru to report that the cure is done." Tamayo grabbed her cat petting it. Tanjiro was in awe and wanted to pet it.

Yoriichi was a huge fan of cats. He remembers that day he was overflooded with cats over him and his brother was looking for him. Michikatsu quickly pulled Yoriichi out of the cats, yet the cute animals still tried to climb up on Yoriichi and Michikatsu. He still loves remembering old times like this.

Tanjiro and Yoriichi returned back to the Corp. Now Yoriichi has to face a trial to be accepted in the Corp. It was time for the pillars meeting, they have finally arrived and Ubuyashiki Kagaya announced that Yoriichi will help the Corp. Some pillars choose to protest once again. They trust Nezuko but they doubt Yoriichi will be anything different when they noticed he had Upper One in kanji in his eyes. Only Shinobu, Giyuu and Mitsuri, the love pillar choose Yoriichi to be spared.

After a few explanations the slayers were informed about Yoriichi's past, how he created the first breath and his tragic demise of turning into a demon. It shocked the pillars and felt terrible for Yoriichi. But now they got the strong on their side. non-stop they trained hard and asked Yoriichi for advice. Some had to train under the shade since Yoriichi is a demon. 

This went on for days until one night Yoriichi heard a cat meowing. it was the same cat that Tamayo has, Chachamaru. He opened Chachamaru's backpack and read the letter. Saying that Tamayo created the cure. And he must come in person.

After awhile he finally made it he knocked the door and Tamayo let him in.

"Lady Tamayo, I received your message." Yoriichi spoke. "Thank you for coming Yoriichi. I may not be sure if it works but after a few more observations I am sure it will work." Tamayo handed two samples to Yoriichi. "One for you and one for your brother. We could only create four samples.." Tamayo spoke. "Four? We?" Yoriichi asked. 

"I managed to create the cure with the help of Shinobu, the insect pillar. We even developed some 'medicines' that can turn Muzan back into a human and even weaken his cells. Yoriichi, you must hear our plan and please understand." the time has come for Tamayo to explain to Yoriichi. "I will have to force Muzan to absorb my hand in order to consume these 'medicines' it may be risky since Muzan could easily absorb me but it the only way." Tamayo explained. Yoriichi understood why. "You must have been tired of letting that man off the hook Tamayo. I understand you. Even I can't forgive him for what hes done to my wife and brother." Yoriichi replied.

"Tamayo. You know my past but you never told me yours." Yoriichi was curious. "I was a really sick woman who was going to die from illness.. When Muzan found me. I became a demon at will in order to see my children grow.. but.. it only made me lose control and made me.. eat my family.. my husband.. my.. my beloved children.." Tamayo cried. Yoriichi comforted Tamayo. "The deceased who fell off on Muzan's hands deserves justice. just like we do. We will put an end to this man once and for all." Yoriichi encouraged Tamayo. 

Tamayo thanked Yoriichi and took the sample from Yoriichi to inject it to him. "It will take some time for you to turn back into a human Yoriichi." Tamayo explained and Yoriichi thanked her.

Tamayo smiled and had to explain Yoriichi something REALLY important. "The reason why I'm telling you this is because Muzan will show up today at Ubuyashiki's estate. I know we must go and protect him but it over for Kagaya. He will die from his illness right away. He asked us to use him as a decoy so that I can get closer to Muzan." Yoriichi knew it hopeless. It was the only way.. after all.. 

A few minutes have passed until a crow appeared. "CAW! ATTACK AT UBUYASHIKI'S ESTATE! ALERT!" The crow was flying in high speed. It was Sorai who is Sanemi's crow. Tamayo and Yoriichi knew it was time. To get there quicker, Yoriichi carried Tamayo and ran at full speed to Ubuyashiki's estate. "Everything is planned Yoriichi. My assistant is already in the Corp as a 'backup'" Tamayo spoke.

After almost reaching to the estate. An explosion happened leaving Yoriichi extremely shocked. Tamayo quickly got off to execute step 2. She threw spikes that trapped Muzan and quickly punched her arm inside Muzan's body allowing him to absorb her hand.

Muzan was angered and suprised to see Tamayo again. "It was your fault! you killed my family!" Tamayo yelled. "Who ate your husband? your children? was it me? no no. it was you. You ate them all up." Muzan replied. "If I knew something like this would happen.. I would've never become a demon.!" Tamayo yelled. "And what about the humans you devoured after your family? was it all a delusion?" Muzan smirked. "I know I commited so much murders. So to pay for you sins.. You are dying with me!" Tamayo then yelled, Muzan felt something behind him and a flail crushed his head. But his regeneration was too strong and healed like it was nothing.

"Everyone.! it Muzan Kibutsuji! this is his form!" The stone pillar, Gyomei Himejima yelled to alert the other pillars who are getting closer. Yoriichi was there too. "Muzan Kibutsuji. I will make sure to wipe you out of this world." Yoriichi was approaching at full speed approaching Muzan. Muzan was in fear to see Yoriichi again but decided to maintain his focus and not run away anymore. If he want to win he must fight back. "You fools." suddenly doors appeared out of thin air  under the pillars. "I will slaughter you all tonight!" Muzan yelled.

 Tanjiro was there and he was full of anger. "Muzan Kibutsuji! I will behead you this night and end you once and for all!" Muzan then stared at Tanjiro. "Then come at me when you can. Tanjiro Kamado!" Muzan replied accepting the challenge.
