"Turn a little to the left. Yep, just like that." The photographer crouched a little before the flashing and clicking noises continued to infiltrate through the room. "Lovely. Absolutely lovely, keep doing that!" everyone in the room was laughing at the excitement on the photographer's face. This continued until one of the makeup artists cautiously interrupted the shoot.
"Uhm, Miss Na. your mother called. I ignored it at first because it's not my business, but she just kept calling I'm sorry." She slowly made her way over to Eunkyung handing the phone over, the latter taking it into her hands. "Hello mother, I'm in the middle of something right now I can't really be on ca- "Eunkyung had been cut off by her mother.
"Your father and I are splitting up." Eunkyung stopped mid-sentence before standing up straight. "Can I be excused? Do you have enough photos to finish this shoot?" the photographer scrolled through all of the photos he had taken before nodding curtly. "You can go Miss Na, it was lovely doing work with you, I hope we get to do more work with you in the future!"
Eunkyung bid everyone goodbye before going off to her changing room. She closed the door behind her before taking a seat infront of the dresser. "What do you mean you and dad are splitting up...?" a sigh could be heard from the other end of the phone as Eunkyung awaited a response.
"We simply don't love each other anymore, it's not that big of a deal Eunkyung." A scoff fell from the girls' lips in disbelief. "Not a big deal? Mum, you do realize that I am your child. You guys have been together my entire life this clearly is a big deal for me."
"For the love of God. Why do you have to make everything about yourself?" a look of disbelief made itself apparent on her features as she chuckled. "Really mum? I make everything about myself. Is that seriously what you like to tell yourself?" right as Eunkyung finished, a light knock could be heard at the door before Jisung poked his head through, some Karage chicken on rice in one hand and drinks in the other.
Eunkyung was too focused on the conversation she was having with her mother to even notice the boy, allowing him to slip it quietly without startling the girl. He sat the food down before sitting in the seat, waiting for her to finish her call.
"Yes, I'm being serious Eunkyung. You always make everything about yourself. This isn't your divorce now, is it?" Eunkyung took a deep breath in before preparing herself to confront her mother yet again.
"It's never about me! How could you possibly blame this all on me when you're the one the one getting divorced?!? How is everything about me when you're the one who does nothing but nag me about what I'm doing and how it's disappointing and a miss-justice to your name?!? if it was all about me, you would have been here while I was in hospital. You would have at least sent a text or tried to what any other mother would do and give a shit. But to nobodies surprise you didn't do shit; your work was more important. That's how it always it isn't it? Put work before my own family in order to 'keep them alive' yeah sure whatever you say."
