This is me trying

It was the morning after and I got up in a rush, I went to the bathroom and showered; I changed and stared at my reflection in the mirror. Well until my mom called my phone and made me jump. "Hello," I'm guessing she had landed, "hi love, we're about to land so you can start heading out now" I grab my keys and close my bedroom door, "I'm on my way Mom "I got into my car and left to the airport.

I pulled into the parking lot found a perfect parking spot and waited for her outside her terminal, I was trying to focus, and when I looked outside I could see her inside looking for her luggage, I decided to walk over to the airport and help her out. She was waiting patiently and it was adorable. The luggage came out and hers was the first one out, she came outside and opened the trunk. "Hi Mommy, let me help you with that" I picked it up and then hugged her, she hugged me even tighter and kissed my forehead. "Come on Mom" she got in the passenger seat and after that, it was a hassle to get out of the airport but we achieved it, " so honey I'm staying with Max, I don't want to intrude in your time with Charles, I know you guys are probably talking about things, so max thought it would be better if I stayed over. I think it would be a good idea too" I let out a sigh and looked over at her, I missed her but I also think they're right about that because although Charles and I spoke about it. There are things that we need to figure out. "Okay Mom, but we're going to dinner at 6 pm" She nodded and I drove her to Max's place

"Mother snatcher" he had his evil little smirk, "Yes but no, you and Charles still need to figure things out Stella" I nodded and hugged him. Kelly helped my mom with her things to the guest room. "Bye Mom, I'll see you at 6 pm, wait do you guys want to come, bring p" he said they would be there and drive my mom. I gave my mom a last hug before leaving. I was driving to my house but stopped for a drink at my favorite cafe, " hi can I get a matcha" I waited for my order and sat at an empty table. "Stella" I looked up and it was Lando. I smiled at him and told him to sit down, he told me he'd be back after he ordered for him and his mom, and I felt my gaze fall on him without even wanting to.

     "You scared everyone yesterday you know" I knew that considering I passed out in front of everyone I knew. "Yeah I know, I'm sorry about that. I heard you were the one who rushed me to the hospital" he put his head down for a minute and looked back at me, but not looking at my eyes. It's like he couldn't, a bit of disappointment was taking over his body. "Yeah, I was there for it all. I was the first one to also know who was pregnant" he nodded and held his hand with pity, "I'm so sorry Lan" he looked up in confusion.

      "About what Stella, you haven't done anything wrong it should be me apologizing to you. I'm so sorry for that night. I think I tried hurting you because I was so hurt" Then it was me who couldn't look into his eyes, I just looked at the table, "I said I'm sorry because you had to be there for the news, I know that a part of you still had hope in us. But thank you for that apology" he scoffed and looked me in the eyes, " I'll always have hope for us, even when you're carrying a kid inside of you. But when the time is right, I won't be ruining the family you guys are made to be" he said and smiled at me, I smiled back as him,

    "Lando, you need to move on. Why can't it be that nice girl you took" My name got called out as my drink was reading so he quickly got up to get it, "like I was saying she told me to start getting used to the idea of getting over you because you were about to start a family. She told me that the way I completely forgot about her the minute something happened to you, she knew it wouldn't work" I was a bit surprised by what I was hearing because I never expected him to say that, that was the last thing.
      
     " Charles is your friend, Lando, you both are in a good place. Don't show your emotions around him. Please" he nodded, " I promise Stella, um be careful when going home" I take a look back at him and smile, I wave and get into my car. He quickly came running to my car and gave me another drink, "for Charles" I had forgotten his drink, " thank you, I'll see you on the track on Friday," I closed the window and drove home. Two amazing boys who are my brother's friends, I never expected this to happen. Yet here I am with a beautiful mistake growing inside of me.
