Silena's POV
It was the next day at Camp Half-Blood. Holy Fates, this place was boring me.It was like all the fun had drained out of this place, because of a certain son of Hades.
I was walking around the camp. Not much changed except the fact there were more cabins now.
I then saw my next target. Or recruit, you could say. It was Drew Tanaka. Drew had a really bad reputation because she was quite rude.
So, naturally, I went to approach her.
"Hey, you're Drew, right?" I asked, with a faint smile on my face.
"Yeah."
"I'm Sapphire, wanna be friends?"
I reached out for her hand in a motion to shake it, which she complied. Perhaps, it was my charmspeak.
We talked for a while, turns out she also hated the gods.
"I feel like, they shouldn't deserve the authority they have." She said, her tone fuming with anger.
I nodded in understanding.
"What do you think about betraying the gods?"

Charles' POV
I opened up a drawer in the Ares Cabin, next to my bunk. I took a piece of obsidian, a matchbox and a drachma.I went to a rather secluded part of Camp Half-Blood. I walked to the limestone cliff and behind it was my destination.
Bunker 9. I had heard a lot about it, bit never saw it for myself. I grabbed to matchbox and set ablaze a matchstick. The doors swiftly opened and closed.
Inside it, was a beauty to my eyes. The place was filled with tools, metal scraps and a bunch of blueprints.
There I saw a boy with curly brown hair and elf-like features. I recognized him. He was Leo Valdez. Current Head Counsellor for the Hephaestus Cabin.
Apparently, he didn't notice me because he was too busy building something and blabbering in a foreign language.
I decided to knock gently on piece of wood, which got his attention.
"Holy shit, dude! You scared me!" Leo said, quite startled.
But then he realized and asked, "How did you get in here?"
I just simply held up the used matchstick as a reply.
"You're Leo Valdez, Senior Counsellor for Cabin 9. Right?" I stated.
"I didn't expect myself to be that famous." He said, jokingly.
"Do you know what happened to your old counsellor?" I asked.
Clearly, I was talking about myself.
He just stared at me, a bit horrified. He gulped and then said, "Yeah .."
"What does his death make you feel?" I said, now fiddling with some of the machines he worked on, careful not to break any.
"I-" He started, but then stopped.
Leo let out a deep sigh and answered, "He didn't deserve what had happened to him. Based on what Nyssa told me, he was a good counsellor. Excellent with machines."
"Thinking about his death reminds me that the gods could have tried to save him, but they didn't." Leo finished, his tone filled with pure anger and hatred.
Woah, I didn't expect him to feel like that. But I smiled at him.
"And if you were given a chance to meet him once again," I started. "Would you take it?"
Leo nodded.
"Even if it meant betraying the gods?" I told him.
At first, he was hesitant but then he simply shook his head indicating 'yes'.
"Do you want to meet him? Right now?" I said.
"He's dead. Meeting h- Wait .. you aren't trying to kill me, right?" He said, kind of nervously.
"Gods of Olympus, no!" I replied immediately.
Idiot. He's a pure idiot.
"Let me show you something." I said.
I, then, chipped off a piece of obsidian I got earlier, and threw it on the ground. My 'identity' flickered and turned back to my normal self.
"Feels way better now." I muttered to myself.
I looked up to find Leo gaping at me, to which I chuckled.
"Yo-You're Charles Beckendorf." He stammered.
"The one and only." I flashed him a grin. "Do you accept this offer?"
Leo gulped. He though about it, and then nodded.
Good, or else I'd had to dispose of such good talent.
I crouched down and picked up the pie of obsidian, which made my identity change back into the fake one.
Only one more recruit left. Clarrise.
Third Person POV
Charles casually walked out of Bunker 9 after explaining some information to Leo.In another hidden part of the forest, he crouched down and started a fire with some tools. He then dropped the obsidian in it.
The flames danced around him, growing larger and larger.
The fire flickered from its usual orange color to a picture of a gothic boy.
"Nicholas."
"Beckendorf."
"Four recruits. One more down to go." I informed him.
Nico or Nicholas smirked in response, and nodded his head in acknowledgment.
Soon, the flames were blown out.
The fun had just begun.
