"Look at my sunburn." My mom showed me skin peeling off her arm
"They ain't have no sunscreen?" I spun around in her island chair
"They did, it just barely works." She shrugged
"Did Dad get sunburned?" I asked
"Shoot, both of us did." She said and I nodded
"Was y'all arguing the whole trip?" I raised my eyebrows still spinning
"No, he was just mad at the start and stay out of grown folks business." She said
"I am a grown folk." I said and she laughed
"I never heard someone say that before, interesting." She said before my dad came through the front door
"Hey, Mila." He walked over to us before pulling my mom into a hug and kiss
"Hey, bae." He said to her
"Hey." We said in unison while I waved
"What y'all talking about?" He put a bag down on the table
"The trip and the sunburns we got." She said
"Forget the sunburns, them damn bugs ate me up." He scratched his head
"What bugs?" I spun around in the chair
"I don't even know the name of em." He said before lifting his shirt to show me his back, he had a lot of bug bites on his back
"I didn't even realize it was that bad." My mom commented as I ran my hands over his back
"That feel like... Ion even know." I said
"I know." He pulled his shirt down and turned around facing us
"You want me to put that stuff on it?" She asked
"Yeah." He nodded
"Come on." She got up and they went to their room
Speaking of they room, I needa find out where that damn voice came from
I got up and went in their room, she was just rubbing some white cream on his back
"How you knew I was eating in yo bed?" I asked and she pointed to a camera in the upper right corner of the room
"What? I thought that was the uh air freshener dispenser." I said and she shrugged running her hands down my dad stomach
"Eating in my bed like you don't have your room is beyond me." She said
"Y'all bed is so comfy and aesthetic looking." I said since their bed is king size and their bad set is blacked out silk
"Aesthetic looking." My dad chuckled raising his arms up so my mom could put the cream on his sides
"You just worry about them bedbug bites." I said then he flicked my forehead
