"hey y/n, i want you to meet my friend, hyunjin. he has the same age as you too, and you two will get along great, i just know it."
jeongin, y/n's younger brother said as he introduced his one of friends towards his shy sister - he was intended to make them get along.
hyunjin smiled at y/n, giving her a friendly hello. y/n couldn't help but feel a bit nervous when she realized how friendly and open he was.
"i'm so glad we finally have a chance to meet, y/n. i've heard so much about you!" hyunjin looked at y/n with a cheerful smile, making her feel even more shy and anxious.
y/n simply nodded silently, not sure what to say. she felt uncomfortable yet fascinated by his outgoing personality. it was so different from her own. maybe that was why she felt so drawn to him.
"and you're even more beautiful than i imagined-"
"hyunjin hyung!" jeongin interrupted, giggling. "don't be so forward. you don't want to scare her. she's obviously still warming up to you."
hyunjin rolled his eyes at jeongin and turned back to face y/n. "sorry for that. your little brother is a bit protective of me and my heart."
y/n just smiled awkwardly, feeling even more embarrassed when she caught herself staring at his sparkling eyes.
jeongin push hyunjin's shoulder softly. "i will leave you two alone before i come back with glasses of water and some cookies" he glares at hyunjin before leaving the two of them alone.
hyunjin looked at y/n with a grin. "so, i heard you were interested in art. that's one of my favorite things to do too. i bet we could spend hours talking about it."
y/n felt her face flush. hyunjin was so sweet and thoughtful to talk about it with her. she felt so safe with him and his understanding nature. as the two talked, she found herself opening up more and more to him. slowly but surely, she was falling for him.
"do you mind if i sketch you?"
y/n felt her heart skip a beat as hyunjin asked to sketch her. of course, she didn't mind. she felt so special that he wanted to capture her on paper. she smiled as she saw him pull out a pen and paper, ready to draw her. as the pencil traced her features, she was lost in the moment, feeling the electricity in the air.
when he finished, he showed her the sketch, and she couldn't help but notice that he had made her look even more beautiful than she really was.
"your eyes...they're so captivating. i just had to draw them."
y/n blushed at the compliment and smiled as hyunjin gave her the drawing. in his sketch, her eyes seemed to shine with light, almost like they were glowing. it felt like he was looking right into her soul as he captured her features. she felt a flutter in her heart, thinking about how sweet and talented he was.
