y/n and hyunjin have been secretly sharing a romantic relationship for the past five months. despite both of them being popular idols with a large fan base, they've managed to keep their relationship a secret from the public eye.
however, after discussing it through, the two of them decide it is time to reveal their relationship to their fans. they prepare for the announcement and hope for a positive response from their fans. only time will tell how their fans will react to this news and what will happen next for y/n and hyunjin.
hyunjin and y/n were very anxious as they prepared to reveal their relationship to their fans. they had prepared for this moment for so long, and now it was finally approaching.
"i'm so nervous," hyunjin sighed, pacing back and forth as he clutched a folder in his hands. "i really hope they accept us... do you think they will?"
y/n and hyunjin set up the camera to record their live announcement. y/n sat in front of the camera, making sure her face wasn't visible to fans. then, she sighed and turned to look at hyunjin. "i'm just nervous," she said. "what if the fans don't accept us?"
hyunjin shrugged. "we have to take this risk. we can't hide our feelings forever."
y/n nodded and took a deep breath. it was time to take the plunge. y/n took a deep breath and hit the record button. hyunjin sat beside her and watched as her girlfriend addressed her fans.
"hello everyone," y/n said. "we have something we'd like to share with you today. this is a bit personal, but we wanted to let you know..."
y/n paused as she tried to find the right words. hyunjin reached out and took her hand, providing comfort and encouragement. "y/n and i are together," she continued. "we love each other very much."
y/n continued to speak to the fans, sharing more details about their relationship and why they had kept it a secret for so long. hyunjin listened quietly, providing emotional support when necessary.
the fans immediately began to flood the chat with messages. some of them were excited and supportive, while others were more skeptical or even against the relationship. y/n and hyunjin did their best to remain calm and address all of the comments, but it could be difficult at times.
"thank you for listening," y/n finally said, ending the live.
hyunjin turned off the recording and turned to face y/n. he could see the relief on his girlfriend's face, but he also noticed the stress and exhaustion.
"you did great," hyunjin said, smiling at y/n. "i'm proud of you."
y/n let out a heavy sigh and rested her head on hyunjin's shoulder. she was glad it was over, but she also felt a sense of freedom. they no longer had to hide their love from the world.
"thank you," y/n whispered.
y/n had just finished their live announcement when a loud cheer filled the studio. she turned, only to find hyunjin's band members there with smiles on their faces. they were delighted to hear about the couple's relationship, and y/n couldn't help but smile.
"we knew it!" one of the band members, bang chan exclaimed.
y/n and hyunjin looked at each other and laughed – it was a bittersweet moment, but they were both relieved to finally share their love with the world.
y/n's brother, changbin, came over and playfully headlocked y/n. "my dear sister is finally brave enough to reveal her relationship with hyunjin!" he exclaimed. "i'm so proud of you!"
y/n squealed in surprise but quickly recovered and smiled at her brother. changbin was always there to support her and hype her up, even when he pretended not to care.
"someone's more excited than me," y/n teased as changbin pinched her cheeks, causing her to whine.
the other band members scolded changbin for hurting y/n, but he just shrugged it off and laughed.
"hey, i'm just teasing her!" he protested. "she'll be fine. she's just being dramatic" however, despite his protests, the band members continued to scold him for being too rough with y/n. y/n couldn't help but giggle at the scene unfolding in front of her.
"no, you are!" lee know fired back, standing in front of y/n and holding his arms out. it was as if he was trying to protect her from whatever changbin had in mind. "says the one who was protective of his sister once he knew his sister was in a relationship with hyunjin!" he teased.
the other band members laughed at lee know's remark, and changbin was taken aback by the accusation. "yah! i was just teasing her," he protested. "i'm not really that protective."
jisung step forward, smiling at both y/n and hyunjin. "oh, really? is that right, changbin hyung?" he teased. "i've seen you glare at hyunjin every time he gets close to y/n before!"
hyunjin raised his eyebrow at the accusation and pouted his lips. "and you didn't believe me when i said i wanted to take care of y/n," he said, crossing his arms and looking away.
the two friends immediately began to deny the accusations, leading to more laughter and teasing.
as the bickering between changbin and hyunjin continued, felix and bang chan stepped in to try and stop them from fighting. they looked at the group and shook their heads, knowing that the situation could quickly get out of hand.
"enough, guys," bang chan said with his voice stern but his expression soft. "let's not fight like this. we should be happy for y/n and hyunjin."
the other members of the band nodded and turned their attention to y/n, who was nervously watching the chaos unfold.
"you're right, bang chan oppa" she said to bang chan. "i'm sorry for all the chaos."
"hey it's fine, really. we're just joking. you know how we bond with each other!" hyunjin said, pulling y/n close to him.
the others also nodded in agreement. "we're just teasing you because we know you can handle it."
y/n laughed, feeling more relaxed. she was glad that their announcement had gone so well.
with the tension in the room diffused, everyone turned to celebrate with y/n. she felt relief, knowing that her friends and bandmates were supportive of her relationship with hyunjin.
"let's celebrate!" lee know exclaimed.
"yes, let's have a party to celebrate!" hyunjin agreed.
everyone else nodded in agreement, and the atmosphere suddenly became cheerful. y/n couldn't help but smile and look forward to celebrating with her loved ones.
by the end of the night, everyone was laughing and having fun, feeling more connected than ever.
