a night where everything changed for him, but not for her. hyunjin's arms felt comfort as he leaned into y/n's embrace. her face buried in his chest, her arms wrapped tightly around his body. yet, despite these comforting gestures, something was off. the hug that once filled him with warmth was suddenly empty. the touch that once made him feel safe was now void of all substance. his heart was no longer in it, and he suddenly realized that his love for y/n was no more. what he had once thought was unshakable was now nonexistent.

hyunjin took a deep breath, trying to process his feelings. he couldn't believe what he was feeling and tried to make sense of it. was it possible that he had fallen out of love with y/n?

the more he thought about it, the more he realized that he no longer felt the same way about her. it was as if a switch had flipped inside him, and his feelings were gone. the thought of life without her no longer filled him with fear, but instead, he felt relief. he had fallen out of love with her.

in her sleep, y/n muttered the words, "hyunjin, hug me tight."

hyunjin sighed, feeling slightly annoyed by her request as he pulled her closer to him.

his arms were wrapped tightly around her, but despite her unconscious plea, his heart was no longer in it. the hug was out of obligation, without any real emotion behind it. the warmth was gone, replaced by sheer apathy.

hyunjin closed his eyes, trying to take in the feeling of having y/n in his arms. but the more he embraced her, the more disconnected he felt. his mind was elsewhere, trying to understand his feelings.

what was he feeling? why didn't he feel the same way about y/n anymore? had he truly fallen out of love with her?

with every moment, the guilt of not loving her anymore ate away at his soul. no matter how much he wanted to, he couldn't bring himself to care about y/n the way he used to.

[ timeskip - the next morning ]

y/n woke up on her own, feeling something was off. hyunjin wasn't there to shower her with kisses as he always did. it was a strange feeling that she couldn't quite place.

when she looked around the room, she couldn't see hyunjin anywhere. "hello?" she called out, her voice ringing in the empty room. "hyunjin, where are you?"

she started to feel worried, wondering where her boyfriend could have gone. she got out of bed and started searching for him, growing more worried by the minute.

then, y/n finds hyunjin sleeping on the couch. despite her relief at finding him, she feels a little hurt that he's not sleeping in her bed with her.

it's a small thing, but it still makes her feel bad. like he doesn't want to be with her or that there is something wrong between them.
