hyunjin sits opposite y/n in the small office of the school nurse, his expression changes from worry to concern as the nurse approaches with a pregnancy test strip.

it's been a tense few days since that night. y/n's body felt strange, and she was sure something was wrong. but she wasn't ready to face the truth. she avoided hyunjin and tried to act like everything was normal. but now she knows she can't run.

"y/n?" the nurse says, holding up the positive pregnancy test strip.

y/n looks up at the nurse, who is staring at the test strip as if waiting for her to speak. but y/n's mind is blank. "um..." she manages, glancing at hyunjin and then back at the nurse.

then hyunjin speaks up, his voice breaking the tension of the scene. "we know what this means," he says, "but whatever's gonna happen next, i'm here for you."

y/n just stares at him, unable to believe the nightmare that is turning into a reality.

hyunjin wanted to comfort y/n. with that, he puts his arm around y/n, his expression full of concern.

the nurse breaks up the tender moment with a few more questions. "do you know how far along you are? and have you heard from your parents yet?"

y/n shakes her head. her mind is still reeling, trying to make sense of everything that's happening. she looks nervously at the pregnancy test strip, unable to accept it's real.

the reality of the situation sinks in as y/n looks between the positive pregnancy test in her hands and hyunjin's concerned gaze. she takes a deep breath and looks back at the nurse.

"i'm not sure how far along i am. but my parents... i can't tell them yet." y/n says hesitantly. "they would... my f-father wouldn't understand. he'd be so angry..."

the nurse gives y/n a sympathetic smile and turns towards hyunjin. "would it be alright if we gave you a few minutes to talk things over?" the nurse asks.

hyunjin nods. he squeezes y/n's hand and looks into her eyes as if willing the situation away. "we don't have to tell anyone yet," he says softly.

y/n nods, but her heart is racing with anxiety and uncertainty. she doesn't know what to do. as the nurse steps out of the room, she looks up at hyunjin for support.

as the door closes behind the nurse, searching for comfort as y/n's tears begin to fall. "i don't know how this happened..." she says softly. "i knew i wasn't feeling well, but i never thought..."

hyunjin pulls her into a embrace and holds her tightly, as if he could keep her from breaking under the weight of it all. "i know," he says softly. "but we'll figure this out. we'll get through this together."

y/n nods and buries her face into hyunjin's chest, holding on tightly.

y/n's mind races as she lies in hyunjin's arms, the weight of the situation heavy on her shoulders. the thought of telling their families is crippling, and the thought of keeping the secret from them is even worse. but she knows she has to tell the truth eventually.
