part three third person pov
one month later, y/n and hyunjin had been spending a lot of time together. they enjoyed going on long walks and getting to know each other better. they would often have deep conversations and share their thoughts and feelings with each other. sometimes they would just sit quietly and enjoyed each other's company without the need for words. hyunjin had become a big part of y/n's life and she felt like she could tell him anything. when she was with him, she felt like she could be herself without having to worry about what other people thought. it was a comfortable and peaceful existence.
one night, y/n and hyunjin were sitting under the stars near a lake. y/n could see the light of the moon glistening off the water's surface. she was feeling especially peaceful this night, enjoying the sound of the wind rustling through the trees and birds chirping in the distance.
as they sat in silence, hyunjin looked over at y/n and noticed how peaceful she seemed. he didn't want to break the peaceful feeling they had going on, but he couldn't help but want to speak. he looked at y/n's face and took a deep breath.
hyunjin cleared his throat and slowly began to speak. "y/n... there's something i want to talk to you about," he said softly. He could see her eyes quickly snap up to meet his, and he felt the butterflies in his stomach start fluttering.
it was now or never.
"i've... i've developed these feelings for you," hyunjin said quietly. he felt his face heat up as he said the words, but he knew it needed to be done.
y/n was speechless for a moment. she couldn't believe that hyunjin had just confessed his feelings for her.
hyunjin took another deep breath and continued. "i know we haven't known each other very long, but i feel like i've gotten to know you really well in that time. i... i've really enjoyed spending time with you and getting to know you."
y/n looked down at her hands, feeling her face heat up. she hadn't expected hyunjin to confess his feelings now, but now that it was happening, she realized that she felt the same way.
the two sat there for a few moments, neither of them sure what to say next.
hyunjin cleared his throat again. "y/n, the reason i'm telling you this is because... well, i think... I think i'm falling in love with you," he said quietly.
y/n looked up at hyunjin and felt her heart skip a beat. she couldn't believe that he was telling her this and she felt a little overwhelmed by her feelings. "i... i feel the same way," she said quietly, finally finding her voice. "i've been... trying to deny it, but i can't anymore. i'm in love with you."
hyunjin beamed and let out a deep breath. he couldn't believe what he was hearing. it felt like a dream to have the girl of his dreams confess that she was in love with him. as if nothing else in the world mattered.
"me too," hyunjin said quietly. "i can't deny it anymore, either. i've been in love with you from the moment I first talked to you."
neither of them could believe what had just happened. the two of them felt overwhelmed with happy emotions and couldn't believe that what they had been hoping for was now a reality.
after a moment, hyunjin was the first to break the silence. he reached across the space between the two of them and gently took y/n's hand, holding her gaze. "y/n, will you be my girlfriend?" he asked softly.
y/n smiled up at him, feeling her heart beating fast with happy excitement. "yes" she said with confidence, not even trying to hide her joy. she then stood up, pulling hyunjin to his feet as well. "and will you be my boyfriend?" she asked.
hyunjin couldn't help but smile. "of course."
then, hyunjin took a step closer to y/n and pulled her into a hug. they both held onto each other tightly, feeling like they had finally found their other half. they were both feeling filled with overwhelming joy and love.
as they continued to hug, hyunjin looked down at y/n and smiled tenderly. he couldn't believe that this girl was now his girlfriend and that he had finally found the love of his life.
hyunjin looked at y/n and swallowed his anxiety. he knew he really wanted to kiss her, but he never wanted to force her into doing anything that she wasn't comfortable with. "can i kiss you?" he asked quietly.
y/n looked up at hyunjin with a smile. "of course," she said softly. "i'm actually surprised it took you so long to ask."
hyunjin felt a rush of blood to his face, feeling slightly embarrassed that y/n was so aware of his feelings.
then, hyunjin took a deep breath and pulled y/n a little closer to him, the two of them becoming wrapped in each other's arms. he slowly leaned down and gently pressed his lips against hers - the moment lasted for what felt like an eternity, but in reality was just a few seconds. hyunjin couldn't believe how perfect the moment felt, and he didn't want to pull away.
y/n's hand gently brushed against hyunjin's cheek as she pulled away from the kiss. their eyes remained locked on each other, both of them still feeling overwhelmed by euphoria and love.
hyunjin and y/n stayed in their embrace, feeling like they were wrapped up in their own private world. they didn't need to talk or say anything, they just wanted to experience the moment in full.
hyunjin's heart was beating swiftly in his chest, but at the same time he felt peaceful and relaxed. he had never felt like this before.
this was love.
he brushed his fingers through y/n's hair as they stood close together, and he couldn't help but be reminded of the first time they had met. it felt like their love had always been there.
"y/n," he said slowly, his eyes still locked on her. "i don't want our love to just be about the physical moments. i want it to be about something more. i want us to be able to share the deepest parts of ourselves with each other, and to grow together."
y/n looked up at hyunjin, feeling butterflies in her stomach as she listened to his words. she couldn't believe that she had found someone that could understand her like this.
"i want us to be there for each other, to support and comfort one another," hyunjin went on to say. "to be each other's partners not just in the good times, but in the hard times as well. i want us to be soulmates, not just in love but in life."
y/n looked at hyunjin and felt her heart fluttering in her chest. in just one short conversation, she had fallen deeply in love with hyunjin and his thoughtful words.
hyunjin gently pulled y/n closer again and the two shared another long kiss.
the two of them stood close together after the kiss, their hearts racing and their breaths coming in short gasps. they were both filled with euphoria from the feelings of love and connection they had just witnessed.
they both knew that this was the beginning of something beautiful, something that would last a lifetime.
they stood together in the moonlight, their hearts were full and their spirits felt free, knowing that they had found true love and that they would always be with each other, through the highs and lows of life. the two looked at each other with smiles of pure happiness and love.
