After some time, when they had finished donating blood, they got up from the beds. "Here," Ruhi offered some fruits to Veer and said, "Thank you."
"Pleasure, all mine," Veer replied with a bright smile on his face. Ruhi turned to walk out of the tent, and Veer followed her, with Tarun and Rajat trailing behind, uncertain of what to do next.
As Ruhi was talking to someone on the phone, Veer stood in front of her. "Yeah... I'll call you later," she said, then asked, "May I help you?"
"Madam ji, this is what I want to ask you," Veer replied.
"May I help you with something else?" Ruhi furrowed her eyebrows.
"I mean, I just want to help as much as I can for these children," Veer clarified.
"Oh, you're so kind-hearted," Ruhi's lips curved upward. "No, you've already helped a lot."
"Oh, by the way, thank you for helping me yesterday," Veer said.
"It was my duty, Madam ji," Veer continued, "By the way, I wanted to ask you... maybe if we could be friends?" Veer hesitantly asked, hoping for a positive response. This surprised Rajat and Tarun, as they were used to Veer making demands, not asking for approval.
Ruhi nodded with a small smile, and as Veer extended his hand for a handshake, he made eye contact with her, a warm smile on his face. She reciprocated the gesture, firmly shaking his hand. When their hands met, Veer felt a sudden rush of warmth and a tingling sensation, as if a connection had formed in that brief moment, leaving him with a sense of excitement and anticipation.
"And my name is not Madam ji; it's Ruhi," she said before leaving. Veer stood there, watching her disappearing figure.
"Bhai, what are you trying to do?" Tarun asked, furrowing his eyebrows.
"I'm trying to win her heart," Veer replied.
"Like this?" Rajat asked curiously.
"Yes," Veer said confidently, "I've noticed that my Madam ji is a very shy person and doesn't like rich people."
"Wait, who doesn't like rich people getting close to them?" Rajat was confused.
"Don't compare my Madam ji with you," Veer innocently defended her. "Ohhh, my Madam ji," Tarun teased but stopped as Veer glared at him. "First, I will make her comfortable around me without letting her know my real identity, and then..."
"Then?" Rajat and Tarun asked simultaneously.
"Then I will ask her to marry me," Veer revealed.
"Wow, bhai, what an idea," Rajat exclaimed. "I'm sure bhabhi will be so touched by your efforts," he added.
Tarun was still speechless after hearing Veer's plan. "Is this really how it works?" He asked himself.

Next day
"So, kids, are you ready for our mission?" Ruhi shouted excitedly into the microphone with a broad smile on her face. Today was her last day here, and she wanted to do her final program with the children. They were going outside the orphanage to clean the roads and the surrounding area.
"Ruhi, you lead the team and children, and I will take photos for the reports," Mahi suggested, earning a nod from Ruhi. Veer arrived at the place where Ruhi was. As he stepped out of his Jeep, his eyes immediately scanned the area in search of Ruhi. Finally, he spotted her, wearing a cap and holding a broom, an unexpected yet practical sight. Her attire, simple yet striking— a white fitted top paired with black high-waisted jeans and sneakers—made her look captivating in a straightforward outfit. The noonday sun had caused a faint blush to color her cheeks.
Veer couldn't help but admire her beauty and wondered how someone could look so captivating in such a simple outfit. He approached Ruhi, intrigued by her wave and change in behavior.
"Veer, aap yaha?" Ruhi asked, puzzled.
"Ab aapne to bataya nahi ki aap ek aur saaf-safai program organize kar rahi hain, to hum khud hi aa gaye apki madad karne," Veer complained. ("You didn't tell me that you were organizing another cleaning program, so I came here myself to help you.")
Ruhi chuckled at his complaint and replied, "Actually, this is a very impromptu program that our team organized to raise awareness about cleanliness in our surroundings."
Veer, eager to help, said, "Main bhi to saaf-safai ka shauq rakhta hoon. Dede aapka jhadu, main saaf kar dunga. ("I also enjoy cleaning. Give me your broom, and I'll clean it up for you.")
Ruhi tried to decline his offer, but he insisted, "Arey, apke haathon mein to kisi ke naam ki mehndi acchi lagegi. Yeh sab to aap humpe chhod dijiye." (Mehandi with someone's name will look good on your hands. Leave all this to us.") He took the broom from her hands and started cleaning, while Ruhi grabbed another broom and began cleaning alongside him.
"Hey, don't clean here," a man in his late forties appeared and said. "What's wrong, uncle?" Ruhi asked.
"I know people like you... first, you'll pretend to clean my property, and then you'll claim it's government property."
"No, uncle, it's not like that," Ruhi tried to explain, but he didn't listen.
"No, no, go away from here!" He attempted to push Ruhi back, but his hands froze when he saw Veer approaching from behind her. Veer's single glance was enough to send chills down his spine. Veer stepped in front of him and said, "Safai karne ke do tarike hote hain, ek toh haath jod ke, aur dusra haath per tod ke....Ab aap hi bata dijiye, aapko kaunsa tarika pasand hai... uncle?" (There are two ways of cleaning, one is by folding hands, and the other is by breaking hands and legs... Now tell me, which method do you prefer... uncle?") He smiled at him, but his warning tone couldn't be ignored.
The man wiped sweat from his forehead and said with a forced smile, "Do all the cleaning you want," then he left. Ruhi was stunned but didn't say anything and resumed cleaning.
Mahi, who had been observing the situation, called Ruhi over to her. "Is this the guy who came to the blood donation camp yesterday?" Mahi asked, earning a nod from Ruhi.
"Ruhi, do you even know who he is?" Mahi questioned.
"He's the son of Thakurain Chandra Singh. His mother is a lady gangster; she runs a liquor business. He's very infamous here. You'd better stay away from him," Mahi advised Ruhi.
Ruhi was taken aback by his unexpected kindness towards orphans, donating blood, and even cleaning the paths. She couldn't comprehend why he would do such things. Consequently, she decided not to engage with him, as she had no desire to be embroiled in the affairs of these affluent individuals. She promptly left the scene.
Meanwhile, Rajat inadvertently overheard the advice Mahi was offering to Ruhi while he was en route to Veer's side. Rushing to Veer, he recounted everything he had heard. Veer's icy glare sent shivers down Mahi's spine when she turned around. Her complexion paled as she noticed Veer approaching her. In an attempt to evade his penetrating gaze, she swiftly turned on her heels.
"Arey kaha chali, Doctor Sahiba?" Rajat blocked her path, inquiring,
(Where are you going, Doctor?)
When she turned around, she found Veer standing right in front of her.
