**Hey!**
**Hope you like the chapter.**

**Next day:**

"Are you sure she's here?" Veer asked. Rajat nodded and said, "Yes, Bhai, I had investigated that girl who ran away from there. I never saw her here. She's definitely a traveler, and I heard that some people are organizing a health camp in this orphanage. She might be one of them," Rajat said.
(Bhai: brother)

"But Bhai, why do you want to know who that girl is?" Tarun asked with curiosity.
"Hey, you dumb! Why do you think a man wants to know about a woman?" Rajat said with a mocking face.
"Why?" Tarun raised one brow in confusion.
"You both shut up! If she's not here, then be ready for punishment, Rajat. Because I don't like to go to places full of children.

After that incident when Veer met Ruhi, he froze for a moment. Even after reaching home, she was the only one on his mind. He asked Rajat to find out who that girl is. He just wanted to meet her again and never let go.

*When they entered the orphanage...*

The noise of children playing around and screaming with joy filled the air.
"Huh! Kids are really troublesome," Veer said, scrunching his nose in frustration.
"Look, Bhai, someone is dancing there." Veer turned his head towards the direction Tarun pointed. He froze. Yes, that someone was Ruhi. He lost himself when he saw her dancing. She wore a red frock suit. Her net dupatta with a golden border danced to the rhythm of the song. Her long hair, reaching her waist, flowed as her steps quickened. A smile danced on her lips, and her eyes shone.

"Bhai?" Rajat waved his hand in front of Veer, snapping him out of his thoughts.
"She is the one, right?" Rajat confirmed with a smirk.
"Who is she?" Tarun asked.
"That's your future bhabhi," he declared, patting Rajat's back.
(Bhabhi: sister-in-law)

"Ruhi, it's time to start the blood donation camp. Stop dancing with the kids now," a girl from her team said.
"Yeah, coming," Ruhi replied.

Ruhi turned her head to go but saw a figure she vaguely recognized. As the figure got closer, she recognized him. "He's from yesterday..."

"Hey! Remember me?" Veer asked with a broad smile as he approached her.
Ruhi was shocked. "You? She frowned in confusion.
"What? I've gone crazy after meeting you, and you don't even remember me," he said under his breath so no one could hear.
"Oh mam, this is not good. I helped you so much, and you already forgot me?" Veer complained.
"No... no, it's not like that. I remember you. Thank you again," Ruhi said softly.

She was going, but he stopped her, intending to start a conversation.
"By the way, I told you my name, but you haven't?"
"You did?" She asked, not recalling that he told her his name.
He pressed his lips in a thin line, trying to calm himself. "It's okay, madam. I can introduce myself again."
"Bhai is trying hard. I've never seen him talk to someone so patiently," Rajat said.
Tarun nodded in shock.

"Hi, I'm Veer." He extended his hand for a handshake.
She hesitated but shook his hand.
"I'm Ruhi."

A small smile appeared on his face as he heard her name. "Ruhi, what a beautiful name... just like you." She let go of his hand and said, "Shall we go now?"

Veer raised his eyebrows, not sure what she meant.
"Where?" Rajat asked.
"To the blood donation camp," she said.
"But why?" Rajat asked.
"To donate blood, of course," she confirmed. "You guys are here to donate blood, right?"

Ruhi asked, assuming Veer was there to donate blood to the poor children, and they had coincidentally met there.
"Yeah, right. We're here to donate blood," Veer said hesitantly.

"But Bhai, you're afraid of...
"Shut up," Tarun tried to say something but was interrupted by Veer.
"Madam, you go first. We'll just come in a minute."
Ruhi nodded and left.

"But Bhai, you are afraid of injections. How can you donate blood?"

"Well, I can give her whatever she wants, but if this is what she wants—my blood—then I can give it to her," Veer declared with a smirk.

"Biwi banni nhi khoon phele pine lagi."
(Didn't become a wife, already started drinking blood.)

"Let's go."

"Where, Bhai?" Rajat asked.
"You guys also wanted to donate blood, right?"
"When did we say that?" Rajat and Tarun said in unison.
Veer glared at them. They gulped and nodded. "Yes, we want to donate blood."

Veer came where the crowd was waiting for their turn.
"Thakur sahab," a man said. "What are you doing here?" the man asked.

"Why? Can't our bhai come to donate blood?" Rajat asked, raising his eyebrows.
"Of course he can," the man said, and gestured for them to go in first. "You go in first, thakur sahab," he said. "No, it's fine. I can wait in line," Veer replied. "How humble of you, but I'd be happy if you went first," the man thought.

Veer appeared brave, but the truth was he was scared and didn't want to go in first.

Ruhi came out from the tent. "Veer? Are you not coming? You're standing first in line. I think you might be in a hurry to go somewhere. Come in first; I'll take out your blood.

" Veer looked at the man with a dark gaze, where the man couldn't understand what he had done wrong.
